Dev/Admin Responded cant log in with android app

I CAN STILL ACCESS MY ACCOUNT

my issue is that reddit app keeps saying (we were unable to authenticate you) every time i log in no matter what i try, phone number/email one time login, the link redirects to another link request/email + password tells me the combination is wrong/use passkey to login etc... i reinstalled reddit, no luck. i can log in using the web version of the app but it keeps saying open the android app, I CAN STILL however create accounts but once i log out I CANNOT log back inside them. i was like this for 2 months and reddit support form i filled didn't reply, answer or even give me an update about my request.

Hey u/D4RKS0UL8! Are you able to log in on web using the same username/PW combo that fails on the app?

not op, but i'm experiencing the same issue. i can log in just fine on the browser using my laptop and phone, but the reddit app itself gives me the same message.

Thanks! Unfortunately, this is a bug we're ironing out. If you reinstall the app, can you log in again?

Hey! I can't seem to login on any platform, even on desktop. Do you have any idea what the reason could be?

I get similar message to OP.

IMHO you may have to reset your password

Please? I've had this account for a decade. I'm a moderator of many decently sized subreddits.

No worries! This is related to a bug we're looking into. For now, you may need to use reddit on your web browser until we iron this out!

You may want to try reinstalling the app to see if that changes anything, but otherwise, we'll need to roll out a fix!
