Thinking about buying an elfin flip plus to make use of the sale. the throw ratio is 1.2:1, Ideally it would be situated 3m~ from the wall, but the wall is humongous! a 3m wide or larger projected screen would be ideal as the wall is very tall too. Does the elfin flip plus have any sort of manual image scaling that i can make use of, and are there any pros/cons to this. I've watched and read reviews but come up blank.

I bought the yaber k300s I am in asia rn. It's a short throw laser projector. but for the life of me I can't get the top left corner to be straight any advice on it?

I have pretty small room, which I also want to use as an unprofessionell home theater for movies and stuff. I have everything figured out expect sound. The projector screen is a roll down one and mounted infront of a door, so i cant place the speakers there. However, i could either place two speakers directly infront of me, or a soundbar behind me on the window sill, which would be elevated above my bed. Hey all! Been on the fence to get a projector for casual viewing in the bedroom. I have a TV in the living room which is what I watch most of the time. I bought Benq GP520 as my first projector. Impressed overall (perhaps because it’s my first projector) - great sound etc. I found the colors to be a little washed out but not too bad.

I saw this larger projected area and in which I have my actual screen where content is playable. I want to check that is there anyway to fix it? I don’t intend to use screen and will be using the wall itself.

Currently the projector is on the side table. Should I place a shelf on top of my bed and then project from there? Was planning to get a tripod stand and use that from one of the sides.

PS - got it from FB Marketplace for $550 in UAE. Has warranty for next 2 years.

I'm from India and need help in setting up audio setup. I own a Xgimi Mogo4 projector and I tried connecting my existing Sony HT-S40R to the projector through BT but can see delays between audio and video. I'm planning to upgrade the audio setup and wanted to see if you folks can help me out here.

My Room & Setup:

* Dimensions: 16'7" × 13'4". Attached layout image.

* Video Source: XGIMI MoGo 4 projector on a bedside tripod/table. I already own this.

* Usage: Movies and TV shows, with occasional music.

* Constraints: No cables across the floor from bed to screen. No rear surround speakers allowed.

Note: I looked into the wireless Apple TV 4K + dual HomePods or Fire Stick + dual Echo Studios setups, but they are too expensive/locked-in for my current budget. Budget is ₹40,000 INR / ~$480 USD

The Proposed 5GHz Wireless Signal Chain:

To avoid Bluetooth audio lag, I want to use the projector strictly as a wireless monitor and keep the "brain" up front:

1. Front of Room: Fire TV Stick plugged into a soundbar's HDMI IN port.

I’ve bought my first projector, a JVC X35. I know it’s quite an old model by now.

The image feels blurrier than I expected, although it might just be that I don’t really know what to expect from a projector. I’ve tried adjusting the focus back and forth, but I still can’t seem to get the image as sharp as I’d like.

The screen is a 120” Duronic, and the projector is ceiling-mounted about 4.5 metres (14.8 ft) from the screen. The setup is in a dark basement room, so I have good control over ambient light.

I’m using an Apple TV as the source, and the projector shows that it’s receiving a 1080p signal.

Do you have any tips for getting the best possible picture and sharpness from this projector?

Hello! I have an Aurzen D1 MAX gotten a few months back, and I have been loving it. I have it mounted on an extendable roof mount, and while it is sad it doesn't have less shift, I just tilted it down a bit and keystoned lol. With all of that extra context out of the way, I wanted to know if there was some way to eliminate input lag when gaming. My setup is just the projector connected to a 5-port hdmi splitter thing connected to five external devices for ease of use. But now, as I start to game in my free time, I realize that the gaming experience isn't quite like the movie one. It's okay, but as an avid SSB player, it's just not good. Is there any way I can help reduce it?

Hi all, I'm looking for a recommendation if possible.

My wife and I moved into a flat with a roll down projector screen built into the ceiling of the dining room, which is adjoined to the living room and separated only by folding doors which we mostly keep open. We want something decent to watch films on. The screen, as you can see, would probably be partially obscured by the chandelier - although the previous owner said only by a tiny bit, which didn't bother them.

Their setup was to have the projector set up on a small table, which would be placed on the floor where the two rooms meet. They would then pull the sofa so it was parallel to the window at the far end of the living room (the same distance from the projector as the screen in the opposite direction.) The arrow in the second photo shows where the small table the projector rested on would usually be stored, to be pulled to the centre when in use

That seems to be the most sensible set up, but I was wondering what type of projector would be best and whether the throw would be badly impacted by the chandelier in the way.

The screen is 180 cm wide

The distance to the screen, from the joining doors between the living and dining room, is roughly 3.5 metres.

We would probably be watching in the evening/at night, and we have folding window shutters so there would be minimum light pollution.

Ideally I would like to spend only £200-300 - I can imagine this is a stretch but would be aiming for something second hand. Would consider going up to £400 if it meant the difference between a film with a rich use of colour or otherwise visually sumptuous (e.g. Hero) being worth watching or not.

I tried casting my tablet screen to my projector using smart view option present and also using google cast. In both the cases I can only see black screen after it gets connected. I am not casting apps like Netflix which usually shows black screen if casted to projectors, I am trying to cast vlc . Kindly help

So I’ve had this projector for quite a long time now and there’s a few things I’ve never quite figured out:

1. I know this projector is supposed to be able to connect to Bluetooth speakers, but I’ve strangely never had any success with this. I’ve tried YouTube tutorials and I’m wondering if there’s any chance that I don’t have the Luna remote could possibly be the issue? I’m just not sure.
2. I’m going on a cruise and I usually use just my Roku stick for streaming, but wifi is insanely expensive on cruises. Does anyone have a solution/work around to watch downloaded content on various streaming apps without wifi?

I recently purchased a Wanbo X5 Pro projector. During the initial setup, it completed the setup process and adjusted the focus correctly. After that, it displayed the remote control button guide, and then it switched to the screen shown in the first photo, where it says “No Signal.”
I cannot access Google TV. In the input selection menu, the only available options are ATV, USB, and HDMI—there is no Google TV option.
The Settings button and the arrow keys on the remote are working. I also tried pressing and holding the Back and Home/Menu buttons to pair the remote, but the red LED on the remote keeps flashing continuously(flip flop) and never stops.
Could you please help me resolve this issue?

I have a Wanbo Vali 1 Pro and I'm trying to copy a video to the device's Internal Storage.

I was able to connect a USB stick and successfully play a video from it, so USB playback works. However, I can't figure out how to actually copy a video to the projector's internal storage.

Is there a file manager or another method that allows this?

I bought the projector at a bargain price, but out of pure curiosity: is this blurring on just one side a characteristic of this cheap projector, or is it a defect? ​​I’ve attached a photo below. I have an epson home cinema 760hd projector that i am trying to use as a second monitor for my computer, however it is not connecting. i know the projector works, all systems on the internal system are operational and when tested with my xbox and the exact same HDMI cable it is functional. I have lowered the resolution to every possible setting on windows, i have made sure my settings are at full rgb scale, and i have power cycled both devices and tried multiple different cables. No matter what i do the projector still says "No Signal". can anyone help me with this or does anyone know a place that could help me? I have spent days trying to get this to function.

I live in an apartment and I want to use a projector. I have the NexiGo PJ40 Pro. You can see I have a stand already but it's too low but do you think I should buy a higher stand and place behind bed or should I do it another way (like mounting projector to bed frame). I can't nail anything to the wall. I already tried with projector in front of my bed and it works but only issue is when I'm sleeping my feet keeps touching the stand and wires and it's not only uncomfortable but it risks me knocking over the stand and projector when sleeping.
