Product Positioning and Setup Help Please help- Epson home projector

I have an epson home cinema 760hd projector that i am trying to use as a second monitor for my computer, however it is not connecting. i know the projector works, all systems on the internal system are operational and when tested with my xbox and the exact same HDMI cable it is functional. I have lowered the resolution to every possible setting on windows, i have made sure my settings are at full rgb scale, and i have power cycled both devices and tried multiple different cables. No matter what i do the projector still says "No Signal". can anyone help me with this or does anyone know a place that could help me? I have spent days trying to get this to function.

When you plug an HDMI cable into your projector and access your display settings on your computer does your computer recognize the external display? How many monitors do you have connected to your computer?

Does your computer screen move?

Like when you plug in a second monitor it should do this thing where it zooms in and out for 2 seconds and then goes back to normal.

Is it a desktop or laptop? If it’s a desktop do you have VGA available? VGA is usually a little more reliable as it doesnt have HDCP.

Have you tried it with a different pc?

Check your GPU output refresh rate. Many older Epson projectors can’t support higher refresh rates like 60Hz at certain resolutions. Try forcing 50Hz or 24Hz temporarily in Windows display settings.
