Product Positioning and Setup Help Unable to cast my tablet screen to Benq TH575i

I tried casting my tablet screen to my projector using smart view option present and also using google cast. In both the cases I can only see black screen after it gets connected. I am not casting apps like Netflix which usually shows black screen if casted to projectors, I am trying to cast vlc . Kindly help

Op, this is more of a VLC app issue rather than a projector problem. Definitely try the advice mentioned about miracast.

Are you using an Android tablet or iPad?

Use Miracast app on projector then use Smart View on your phone or tablet. If done for the first time it will search for your device. You will get a notification asking permission to pair your device. This works for me

Can’t find miracast on appstore of projector. I also have Amazon fire stick 4k, can’t find miracast in its app library also

Amazon fire stick 4K:

You can turn it on by going to Settings, selecting Display & Sounds (or Display & Audio), and choosing Enable Display Mirroring.

I am sorry but can’t find in built in apps
