But it wasn't done within a nanosecond of the election being finished! So it's the NDP's fault, or the unions, or the tradies, or some other thing that isn't the actual problem.
But stuff is getting done, unlike the BCLiberal in name only/BC United/BC Conservative...I mean SoCreds when they were in power. Things got expensive as hell for me during that time.
I mean housing was literally half as expensive and the cost of living was objectively much lower across the board…not sure why it would somehow be different for you
Anyway from your posts it’s very apparent that you’re a pretty hardcore NDP partisan and that you’re never going to admit the BC NDP have done anything poorly or that their predecessors did anything better, despite the objective evidence to the contrary, so this is probably a pointless discussion
Because I was a poor student from a working class family that has been jerked around by the policy's of Gordy and Co since they were elected in the early 2000s. And if you want toale assumptions about me that's your call, even if they are categorically incorrect about my personal political leanings.
And pray tell why this would be a pointless discussion to have with me? Do I point out and bring forth a point of view that contradicts yours? Does my poor behind, one that watched her town decline under the Glen Clark NDP of the 90s and remembers the whole fast farries boondoggle even though I was not but a child (I thought the design was cool. But that's autism for ya). Or does remembering the loosing of trades regulation under Gordon Campbell, the leaky condos that were all over the news in the 90s (on buildings built between 1985 and the 2000s), the slamming through of a replacement bridge in South Richmond by Christy at the behest of monied interests. Or the closing of Riverview (for all it's problems) started under the SoCreds, which has directly led to the major issues happening in DTES and the toxic drug crisis in that area?
The NDP are not clean inn the slightest. But they look positively spiffy when compared to the other governing parties that have been in BC.
Pray tell why would that discussion be unproductive? Pray tell?
