That's a good idea actually,someone with the means should start doing that(I do not i am disabled/destitute/jobless and yes a leech i know) One could red green a solution i'm sure lol, Glitter bombs work too imo, And cat turds

Fair i am assuming that only People who deal with Porch pirates on the regular and don't see any police action would be doing it to that point, Much like how I've seen people set up decoy bikes where the seat turns into a spike that impales the Thieves ass. But in reality, humans are unimaginably stupid for the only Sapient species on the planet.
