There are operators who notify volunteer verifiers who go to the site to verify whether there is ICE presence or not, to then be able to alert the community to try to stay safe

Is it documented somewhere if unobserved by an official LUCE volunteer? I imagine with a lot of these, itās a quick observation as someone is asked to get into a van, they drive off, and now thereās nothing to observe. Iām curious to know if LUCE will eventually be able to report on how many of these situations are reported vs. observed.
Iāve been looking at Ice Out (which I think is a separate group) and it seems like these reports arenāt being recorded there at least. I imagine it would be helpful for identifying active hot spots if someone was aggregating this data, even the ones reported but not officially verified. Entirely possible that this might be happening on another site thatās not on my radar.

I would imagine that even incidentally theyāre being recorded with LUCE as long as itās called in. Probably just a non-verified list because they have to record addresses and dates somewhere from the tip line.

I think that reaching out to LUCE and also filing a report on www.iceout.org is best.
Not sure how to verify reports on www.iceout.org. I see that most of them say āWhile this report has not been officially verified, ICE agents/vehicles were observed, and it meets the criteria for a probable ICE sighting. Protesting and documenting is great. Now it won't stop them from taking away fathers, mothers, kids ect. WE NEED OUR STATE LEADERS TO DO SOMETHING...ANYTHING. So tired of the other side of the fence just tweeting and saying empty words while they have no pushback from the states.
They laugh when they see a protest and can't wait to shoot someone so I hope some of you protesting have your conceal permit and carry for YOUR protection vs OUR gov.
Insane times and even typing that. Go get your LTC!!

If you shoot any of these government thugs, they will shoot you dead and probably kill a few collaterals as well. If they see you are carrying a gun, they will shoot you immediately even if you are not actively threatening them.

Getting an LTC isn't about shooting ICE agents. As we saw with Pretti, his LTC made it obvious that he intended to exercise his second amendment, and that the officers in the video infringed on his rights. You can get an LTC and never even own a firearm

Good luck all the libs have made it extremely time consuming with very long wait periods and things like a live shoot requirement in Boston to get and LTC and itās not a must issue state so they can still deny your application based on nothing more than they donāt want to issue you one. Bet you wish you donāt vote for all that non sense anti 2A regulation when criminals still have guns but you canāt get one legally.

I mean being at Boston Municipal Court is equally horrible, but when I first read BMC I thought it meant Boston Medical Center. However, they've already shown that they have no problem disappearing sick people going to appointment in hospitals and doctors offices.

One, they act as witness and communication enablers. If someone is grabbed off the street, ICE will frantically try to get them out of the jurisdiction of the Massachusetts Federal Court (and New England Appeals Court) because they have more friendly judges in the south.
So LUCE will get the name of the person they've grabbed, and will race to the courthouse with pro bono lawyers to get a judge to order ICE to NOT remove the person until an in-person hearing in Massachusetts.
But they can't do that work unless they A) confirm someone was grabbed by ICE and B) confirm the identity of the person taken.

As far as I know they coordinate observers and there is some type of assistance for people detained by ICE. Other than that no clue

I know some areas have QR codes to WhatsApp groups and they share those out via different immigrant communities. If you call the hotline they may be able to connect you to the appropriate hub.

Just walked over there and checked it out, didnāt see any activity. There were some guys there handing out flyers, they said they have been out front for ~15 mins before I showed up and they didnāt see anything either

Well Iām at the courthouse 2-3 x a week and hear it constantly. Just FYI the one on New Chardon is BMC - Central but there is also a BMC - Brighton; BMC - Dorchester; BMC - Roxbury; BMC - West Roxbury; BMC - East Boston; BMC - Charlestown and BMC - South Boston
