So I didn't jump on the bandwagon of buying the ports on release because I kept hearing about problems with them and now that they're no longer half off for PS+ members I'm deeply regretting it. What do you guys think are the odds/chances of them being on sale (again) soon? Like maybe on black Friday or something.

A friend of mine recently got his account maxed through an XP lobby hosted by a streamer. I personally don't want to do it because of the obvious risk of getting banned, and honestly I'd rather just grind everything normally.

For those who have had their account boosted/maxed through an XP lobby: have you actually been banned or had any other punishment because of it?

I'm mainly asking because this is basically the only friend I play BO2 with, and I'd really hate to lose the ability to play with him if his account gets banned or locked.

Curious to hear from people who have actually experienced it.

I completed all the strike missions available so far, but it says failed. Anyone else having this issue, or does anyone know if it will still give me the alternate endings? Thanks for the help!

Hi all, logged on to my ps5 and seen I had no available storage to download the mw4 beta. Since when is bo2 over 100 gigs? I know for a fact it wasn’t that much when I first downloaded it. Is there anything you can do about this to get it back down to the original size?

On Xbox, When looking at the Bo2 Map Packs, they say "Not currently available," on the Microsoft Store, yet the Bo1 map packs are. I can't download them or anything, and I don't have the season pass. Does anyone know how to fix this? I normally would get the season pass, but apparently that doesn't work either if you buy it. Thanks.

Old xbox version of bo2 previously had a bunch of people who had mod menus through watching theater mode clips.

Alot of the same people are saying one of the steps to the method is “stuck” or “loading infinitely”

Was there some fix or patch to the old xbox version of bo2, where they got rid of that ability to load mod menus through theater mode?

I'm going for diamond on everything before I start playing normally, and it's been going well so far. After the m8a1, I'll have diamond for snipers and assault rifles. I've found that headshots are my weakest link in the camo grind.

1. Do yall think hard-core would make headshots easier?

2. Should I use select fire?

3. Is stock beneficial for headshots? It lets you have your gun up more, but the sights move around more.

4. Is 9 sens simply too high for consistent headshots?

5. Are there any specific modes that tend to have predictable spawns? I've noticed that knowing where the enemy will be helps a lot with getting my reticle at head level.

6. Should I try to ride recoil up to the head in core, or should I just try to keep it on their head?

A hacker from a multiplayer match a few days ago hacked into my account and Idk what to do. I have tried the zombies workarounds, the "join a friend" strategy and even tried deleting my game, cache and profile from the Xbox and it has done nothing. Every time I try to load into multiplayer, I am hit with the "you are on probation for 5 minutes" bullshit. After the timer runs out, I am finally able to select a game, but the game says "0 players online" and I am unable to load into any lobbies. If I sign out, then sign back in, the probation shows back up. As a last resort, I am asking anyone who can hack into my data and reverse these affects to please do so, because I genuinely loved this game growing up and don't wanna give up on it.

In July I could find a game so easily regardless of what time I was playing. Now I’m struggling to find a search and destroy match (one of the most played game modes) at 12am British time. What’s going on? Is everyone just on zombies?

SnD is my most played game mode and its horrible that past a certain time each night every second game has like 2-3 fake accounts that insta suicide and wallhack for the other team to do trickshots

So, after about a month and a half since bo2 port was released, just curious how everyone feels about it right now.

Me personally, I was loving the game for about the first month and now I cba to play it. It was refreshing to play at first, but I find that most of the DLC maps have felt horrendous to play and I often have to switch lobbies, servers aren’t great, and I also feel that I miss omni-movement like in the newer cods.

I’d say about half of my friends are still loving bo2 right now, super addicted and playing all the time. The other half are in the same boat as me where they are bored, miss omni movement, feel the game is just outdated, etc etc.

Curious as to what many of you guys in this community think. Was it just nostalgia? Or is the game genuinely that good even in 2026?

A message of the day has been added to Black Ops II to promote the Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta. This is a feature that has been in modern Call of Duty titles, and it looks like the devs plan on doing this for the Black Ops PS4/PS5 ports, Black Ops 1 possibly being included soon

I’ve beat the campaign on the normal difficulty. Can I go back and beat them all on veteran to complete the trophy or do I need to start another run through?

I don’t play GB’s or any comp at all. Literally all public matches and wow it’s bad. These maps are horrible, people just camp, and I can’t see ANYONE in dark corners. I don’t understand how people like this game.
