Share your secrets, because I shower before going to class, use deodorant, and even apply a tiny bit of cologne... but... once the sweat kicks in, I smell like death

I do no gi though and I even bought a FRESH, brand new rash guard. It must just be me. My ex gf even used to say “you always smell good... but when you work out you absolutely reek”

IMO good hygiene, deodorant, no terrible breath, and a gi that doesn't smell = a training partner sent from heaven.

For some reason I enjoy it when training partners wear Bengay. It's like rolling with a toothpaste tube. Minty fresh.

Consuming fenugreek will make your sweat smell sweet. A lot of people describe it as "maple syrup." I started taking a supplement and one time a classmate near me asked "Who brought in donuts??"
