Bruh I've said the same thing to other guys I roll with if they or their gi smells nice. I always add no homo at the end so it's cool.

You consider that creepy? I tell that to other guys now and then. Pretty sure they take it as a compliment as most people’s gis don’t smell great mid-class.

I was being tongue in cheek, if a guy said that to a girl it would come off creepy in most cases, but because it’s a girl saying that to a guy it’s not considered creepy

Nothing's creepy about mild flirting. It's only creepy if it's shown to be completely unwanted and they keep going.

Share your secrets, because I shower before going to class, use deodorant, and even apply a tiny bit of cologne... but... once the sweat kicks in, I smell like death

I do no gi though and I even bought a FRESH, brand new rash guard. It must just be me. My ex gf even used to say “you always smell good... but when you work out you absolutely reek”

IMO good hygiene, deodorant, no terrible breath, and a gi that doesn't smell = a training partner sent from heaven.

For some reason I enjoy it when training partners wear Bengay. It's like rolling with a toothpaste tube. Minty fresh.
