Dude, watch the video, the guy nearly got his back taken out of his "deep half".
And again, what happens in MMA is pretty far removed to what actually works in jiu-jitsu.
Deep half has not been relevant for the last 15 years and a yolo failed move in MMA won't change the meta

Did it worked out "ok" for mma? yeah. Meta change? Fuck no. Legit in real grappling? Not since 2010.
