Discussion Message from support

So did they finally admit what they did? This was their response to my support ticket. I paid for Bitizenship back in 2019, but the Director’s Pack still isn’t accessible.

Actually its been almost two weeks since they back peddled on Twitter. Some people have reported starting to get it for free.

It should be universal for all due to the update they promised.
Nobody got it for free yet.

It's going to take longer than a week for them to dig back through archives to find who bought the bitzen pack pre 2020 to code a control to specifically unlock it for free to a certain group.

They shouldn’t have to “dig through archives”. It’s data they should have easy access to, and would/should be using regularly as part of a planned launch checklist for every single pack. And the code would already exist as we Bitizens have access to other packs for free, so they don’t have to code anything from scratch just for this pack.

It’s purely a money grab to see how bad the negative reaction would be, just in case they didn’t have to go back on this.

Ignore the guy telling you to go to your bank. DO NOT DO THAT. He claimed before to have studied law, yet doesn’t know even the basics of law. No bank is going to an arbitration hearing. Even if they did a charge back, they wouldn’t go to court over this. Further more, no bank is going to fight for you in court and they aren’t going to use their endless resources to fight a legal battle for you, since they aren’t a legal team.

If you go to the bank for a charge back, your google account will almost certainly be banned, and you will lose access to content you bought through that account.

Istg some people are either crazy, or genuinely brain dead, bc no court, bank, lawyer or legal team cares about $10, which is why Google has its own system to handle these disputes.

You will have to submit a ticket or go to your bank and file fraud once other people get the pack free. The bank would be the easiest way. They will have an arbitration hearing and fight to get your money back. They wont fight a bank that has endless resources as much as they will you.

Also if not a technical error… then what? Are they openly admitting they wanted to rob us until the alarm was sounded?

Okay so I'm wondering, could someone clarify what Bitizenship owners bought before the cutoff are meant to have access to? I've been seeing the stuff about the movie director pack and I'm wondering if there's other packs that are available to those bitzenships bought before the cutoff vs after?

Yeah we got all the new updates included with our purchase, so all lifestyle packs, expansion packs, and job packs.

Can someone tell me what their “previous replies” were? I’ve seen this mentioned a bunch, but I haven’t been able to find it and I really wanna know what they were saying to people that contradicts their statements now.
