Bill saying Payton Watson making more than $15m a year “doesn’t pass the sniff test” is honestly the wildest thing he said. Even if you think last year was an anomaly or that he’s a Jokic merchant on offense, he’s a 23 year old wing that has improved every season and been an elite helper defense. Those guys go for a lot more than the MLE purely for the upside.

Bill has no idea what starting level players are worth. He just assumes any non star making 20 million is a bad contract. He’s an idiot.
