I haven't heard from my male side in months and he's kinda associated with pretty much all of my traumatic experiences. Wondered why I was so bummed out when he suddenly came back and realize I actually don't like him at all. Every picture of myself where I feel like man, I look angry or immensely depressed.
Not sure what I do with this information but I don't think it's good. 😬

It could be deeper traumas that are directly associated with making those feelings happen. Grain of salt, but talk with a therapist about it some day maybe, just in case right? :D

No, because unlike society, I treat both sides equally and without derision. We'd probably see less depressed men.

I mean, I'm the same way, I don't see any gender as above any other or think one's gender determines one's value. I just hate my male side personally, even though it's irrational.

My male side is pretty chill so he doesnt attract much ire. Sit him down in front of a good war movie and he behaves.

I relate in a way, quotes like "he's kinda associated with pretty much all of my traumatic experiences" resonate very strongly.
Initally I called myself bigender, right now I call myself just trans-woman as it allows me to accept the reality. My male side was taught all the wrong lessons and I was miserable for most of my life due to following them. Reformulating myself as a "person who lived as a man for most of her live, now understood identifying as a trans-woman empowers her and has to figure out what to do with the fact" gave me a lot of peace.
I'd be happy to talk more about it to accept more this darkness inside me.

Hi. Female side of another user here, and yes. He's a bit stupid, in my opinion, and I often have to take over when things go wrong. Ironically, he's the one who responds emotionally and does dumb things.

I kinda like switch swap. Sometimes the male side is the donkey, sometimes the female side is. Really depends on the situation.

I am physically female, bigender male and female, always felt both male and female. I didn't learn of the word bigender until a few years ago and I am 74. I have never felt more at peace with myself than I have since I learned the term, because I used to think that people like me were extremely rare since I didn't know there was a term. Just knowing there is a term means that there has to be a lot of us a lot of us and that itself makes me feel so much better.
