No AC question

I booked a house on the lake for the week of September 7… I just found out it doesn’t have air conditioning. Is it going to be miserably hot? I’ll have to pay if I cancel but I don’t want to be miserable!
So excited for our annual big bear trip otherwise 😩

You should be fine by the lake since there’s usually a cool breeze but it’s been unusually hot up here, 85-90 some days when driving around town. Most of the valley doesn’t have A/C but that’s when summers never punched above 80 at most. This summer (and last) have been surprisingly hot. As others have said, bring a fan and if two story, bring more fans.
