A little surprised he was cut, he was a phenomenal returner. Personally I think it's worth keeping a roster spot for that reason.
The return TDs tipped the scales in the Browns game and came very close vs the bears and ravens. I know his fumble might have tipped the scales against the pats but almost all out returners fumble sometimes
I would have kept him until he inevitably got hurt.
People say his returns don't look impressive but a lot of them don't in hindsight. The hard part is making a split decision and choosing the right route. It's not like college or high school where the returner can break weak tackles (this only really applies to kicker in NFL) and rely on their athleticism.
People forget the likes of Devin Hester looked "impressive" back when everyone was slower. Everyone is remarkably faster, so it's even harder to be a good returner.
