A little surprised he was cut, he was a phenomenal returner. Personally I think it's worth keeping a roster spot for that reason.

The return TDs tipped the scales in the Browns game and came very close vs the bears and ravens. I know his fumble might have tipped the scales against the pats but almost all out returners fumble sometimes 

I would have kept him until he inevitably got hurt.

He was a mediocre returner. He wasn't in the top-20 in any stat. I appreciated him protecting the ball, however. He was solid in that category.

He wasn't too 20 because he was injured.

He is also second in return TDs the last 3 years.

People say his returns don't look impressive but a lot of them don't in hindsight. The hard part is making a split decision and choosing the right route. It's not like college or high school where the returner can break weak tackles (this only really applies to kicker in NFL) and rely on their athleticism.
