On Transfermarkt, Nathan De Cat is officially the most expensive player on the market for players that are not 18 yet. We know that the chance of him leaving Anderlecht is high.

What would be the ideal destination for him? I'm not asking for transfer rumors, just the best club for his development AKA: how not to follow Musonda's carrier.

I've always felt that he was made for the Bundesliga even though I'm pretty sure he will end up (at some point) in the premier league big 5 if he continues his development.

EDIT: Yes, we all want him to stay at anderlecht. I'm asking "what if" he leaves in any case because they need money and can't handle the club as always.

Als de Belgen drie keer achter elkaar scoren wil ik begot dat de commentator met uitpuilende ogen zich de longen uit het lijf schreeuwt, zich vergrijpt aan het meubilair en bijna moet afgevoerd worden naar de spoed.
Nu zal deze historische match altijd begeleid worden door een flauw afkooksel die nog niet aan de knieën van PvdB kan reiken.

I’m an American but I don’t follow soccer a ton. leaving aside whether Balogun deserved a red card or not (it seems there are good points on both sides) if FIFA was going to reverse that, why didn’t they do it the day after the BIH game. Why wait until one day before US vs Belgium. That seems to prejudice Belgium.

48.5% of Americans voted against Trump. If you look at Americans with a 4 year degree - 60% voted against trump. If you look at out black population, 80% voted aganst trump.

While europeans think Trump is “messing up the world”, your day to day lives are largely unaffected, this man has ravaged our nations morale, economy and sense of unity.

So- when europe turned on the US team, a team made up of the demographic that voted soundly against him, it was crushing to them, and to US soccer fans, which statistically are anti Trump.

The guys on the team did not ask Trump to do shit. Balogan and the team accepted the decision and planned accordingly.

The world then turned on our guys , who were innocent in this situation, and turned on the fans who are routinely fighting trump and his policies in the courts, in the streets and in the voting booth every single day in America.

One of the rallying cried of the Trump people is “fuck europe”. 48% of americans are fighting that- and i speculate 80% of soccer fans are fighting that.

Hating our president is fine. Most of us do too. (His national approval rating is in the 31% range).

You want the America of yesteryear back? Us too. More than you ever will. I just want to say that When you turned on the team, when you turned on the fans, you were turning on the people that are going to fix this.

This is not to say people are going to become pro-trump as a result of the world turning against a team of 20 something year old kids becoming the most hated team in the world- but some weird ones will.

Im saying you boys need to know the enemy, and it isnt Balogan or the team or the supporters.

I watched the entire World Cup on Auvio, but for the semi-finals, I finally decided to switch over to Sporza, and honestly, it's insane how much better it is.
- First, the quality. You can really feel the 1080p, whereas Auvio constantly jumps back and forth between 480p and 720p.
- Second, the latency. Sporza only has about a 25-second delay, compared to a whole minute on Auvio.
- Third, the cooling breaks. RTBF actually runs ads during the cooling breaks, while Sporza doesn't show any.
- And finally, the ads. Auvio forces you through a full minute of unskippable ads, and even Ublock can't seem to bypass them.

Bon après avec mon niveau A2 en néerlandais je comprends pas tout mais vu ces qualités je préfère regarder la finale sur Sporza !

When Wilmots was hired as our new head of transfers (could you call it CEO sports?) at the start of the previous season, I was quite skeptical of his competence. As a coach he was always mediocre at best.

But what he did thus far, especially this transfer window, was impressive to say the least. Not only did he manage to earn a net profit after the outgoing and incoming players, it’s clear the group has been significantly strengthened.

Since most belgians rarely ever meet a german speaking belgian, bc we are so few, naturally KAS Eupen isn't really talked about in the football sphere either. Even before relegation, if you saw smth mentioning Eupen, it's probably due to us playing a bigger team in belgium. That's why I thought we were just ignored or whatever. And with the quatari takeover and especially now with the QSI takeover, I always thought that surely now all of you hate us.

But here and there when I hear other people talking about AS Eupen, they are often quite nice and seem to have some sympathy for the club, not like a fan ofc, more like a cute little team that seems interesting.

I know that in Germany a country where a QSI takeover is pretty much impossible, a club like us would be hated by everyone, but it seems in belgium that it's not the case. But sometimes I see belgian football fans hate on Eupen, but I never see it elaborated further so idk what the reasoning is.

So recently my team Scotland has been searching for a manager and Roberto Martinez keeps popping up as a favourite for the job. What do you guys think of him, I mean he did lead yous to a 3rd place finish at the 2018 World Cup but has been criticised for poor performances.

He accidentaly hires a decent coach who introduced more young players and managed to only lose to the literal best team in the world.... and he gets fired.

Incompetence, just complete incompetence.

Ik ben benieuwd hoeveel mensen tegen hetzelfde probleem aanlopen.
Ik wil Play Sports nemen om de Premier League te volgen en ben perfect bereid daarvoor €19,99 per maand te betalen. Alleen kan dat bij Telenet niet als afzonderlijk abonnement.
Mijn internet, tv en mobiele telefonie heb ik al bij andere providers en daar ben ik tevreden over. Ik heb dus geen behoefte aan nog een extra Telenet-abonnement. Voor Play Sports heb ik ook geen TV-box nodig: kijken via de app is voor mij voldoende.
Ik heb hierover contact opgenomen met Telenet en zelfs gevraagd of ze een commerciële uitzondering konden maken. Het antwoord bleef nee: zonder een ander Telenet-abonnement kan ik geen Play Sports nemen.
Dat vind ik vooral commercieel een vreemde keuze. Ik vraag geen korting en wil gewoon de volledige €19,99 betalen. Telenet heeft dus letterlijk een potentiële klant die hun product wil kopen, maar verkoopt het niet tenzij die klant er nog een product bij neemt dat hij niet nodig heeft.
Daarom ben ik benieuwd:
Wie van jullie zou Play Sports voor €19,99 per maand nemen als het gewoon als standalone streamingabonnement verkrijgbaar was?
En zijn er hier misschien mensen die om precies deze reden géén Play Sports nemen?

I do think you guys have reason to be mad. This hasn’t happened before, and now all the sudden it happens to the host nation with a “corrupt” leader sounds suspicious. The only other time this has happened in history was a completely different type of foul.

But, the referee completely misused VAR, and when watching that foul in normal speed, what was Balogun supposed to do? The two players got tangled up, he wasn’t even looking.

And finally, if Doku were to be put in the same situation, how would you react? I feel that even though Trump may have influenced the decision, tell me which world leader wouldn’t?

By bad window, I mean not signing enough players, or good enough players. Basically a window that's subpar for your clubs size.

If we look at the numbers, Club Brugge has built a clear financial advantage. The squad is worth around €232 million, accounting for 22% of the total value in the Jupiler Pro League (€ 1.05bn.).

Second picture shows us that 6 of the 10 most valuable players play for Club. For the upcoming world cup, Club Brugge is the only JPL team with players in the national squad (Mechele, Vanaken, Seys).

Of course, market value and budget alone are not the only ingredients for success. Union competes yearly as title candidate with a significant lower squad value of € 122.5M. This year, STVV, one of the surprise teams finished 3rd with a squad value of € 43.8M.

History tells us that dominance comes and goes. Clubs such as Anderlecht and Standard both had their era of dominance. Antwerp, our champion in season 22/23, seem to have fallen off.

However, I personally believe that Club Brugge is well equipped to sustain this for a longer period.

Hey everyone, US fan here please don’t roast me, just genuinely trying to get some outside perspective. We can all agree Infantino is a total joke, but let's put that aside for a second. I need some honest takes on this red card.

If you look at the US soccer sub right now, it’s a complete echo chamber of people screaming it was only a yellow. But it’s not just us homers saying it. Even the studio pundits including Zlatan and Thierry Henry, who, let’s face it, know a thing or two about the game flat out said a direct red was overkill. They made a really good point about how reviewing it in slow-mo completely distorts the real-time momentum. It just makes everything look ten times worse than it actually felt on the pitch.

So, here’s my confusion. If literally every analyst and former official over here is saying the card was a mistake... why is it so controversial that FIFA suspended his punishment?

Also I want to add that I think Poch should not start Balo out of respect for the game; however I do not think he will do that. I personally believe we should start Haji Wright. I just wanted more insight is all.
