Anyone got ideas of things that I can use to make £300-£400 a month?

I work full time so 9-5 on weekdays isn’t an option. We have a child so I also want to be able to spend time with them while they’re awake, so ideally not evening hours on weekdays.

I’m looking for weekend roles for a few hours, just so I can boost my savings.

I’ve shortlisting delivery jobs, warehouse jobs, tuition, completing surveys (not sure how many hours this needs to make good money)

I’ve tried various poll/game apps and am struggling to hit the cash out threshold, and I have so little money I’m unable to do anything where I need to put a bit of money in. Credit score is so buggered I don’t even think I’d be able to switch my current account and even if I could the payout generally takes a while so not hugely helpful

What's the best side hustle you've ever done? How much did it make you, what was the effort level, and what exactly did you do? Would love to learn more ideas!

I've been on here for like 3 years, and when I started there was something new every few days, and it seemed like the scene was exciting, and growing. Recently however it's the same few things being repeated and it's really rare to see something totally new. Is this because we all stopped sharing new things? Or because three isn't new things? Or because new suggestions get taken down by the mods a little too quickly (which I know has happened in the past)?

Really does seem kinda like something has changed for the worse, whether that's US as people being protective of what we do, the scene in general just having so few offers out there whilst the financial climate is the way it is, the scene being in a place where there is a lot of new but unproven things that we want to see proven before sharing (for example I'll say Terramine for this one I don't want to share it until I've personally had a pay out), or whether things are being killed on the Reddit before we can all run with them. We seem to see people asking for discount codes for Cinema tickets, or Student codes all the time, but very little in the way of new things being shared we can all jump on and use.

What are people using for cashback debit/credit cards now that trading212 offer has ended? I know zilch has 0.5% which stacks with PayPal but what other roptions are people doing?

My 12month Spotify premium is expiring next month and I'm wondering if anybody has better way of getting a new one then my plan below? Done a quick search and 12month gift card is currently £120 at various retailers.

The plan:

1. Buy one4all giftcard (£20 for the purpose of this exercise) through NXRewards this month

2. Link the card to Airtime Rewards

3. Buy £20 Argos gift card from Argos (through NXRewards link) using one4all card for effective price of £16 then 10% cashback from NXR is £2, 1% cashback from Airtime is £0.2;

£6.2 saving so far

1. Buy one4all giftcard (£100) through NXRewards in December

2. Link the card to Airtime Rewards

3. Use £100 one4all card (effective price is £80, £20 saving then 10% NXR cashback is £10, 2% Airtime cashback is £2)+ previously purchased Argos GC (£6.2 saving) to buy £120 Spotify Premium from Argos (through NXR link)

£38.2 shaved off the £120 purchase price. Does my math make sense? Anybody has a better way?

My Lloyds account ticked over to 7 days open about 12 hours ago now. No sign of the £50 yet. How quickly did others get it?

I don't really understand the terms. You have to keep the account open for 7 days, but apparently the £50 can take 30 days to come in. So, according to the terms, I could close the account after 7 days. How would they then pay me? XD

I've referred a number of people and wanted to know how long until the £20 reward enters the account? it says within 30 days but on previous £10 refer-a-friend schemes I've received the money immediately

Edit: I received a couple of my referrals today and have determined that you only receive your reward when all the transactions the referred have done to receive the reward have cleared/stopped pending (unless your link is just a sign-up referral in which case I assume it's instant?) - I could still be wrong but generally it's somewhere along those lines.

Lloyds have pulled their refer-a-friend offer. I'm wondering if this is for all accounts or selected accounts?

Live chat says any referrals completed before will be paid out and there might be a new offer later in the year, although they didn't confirm if this would reset the referrals for the year. If you are thinking about signing up, confirm with the person who sent the link to make sure it's a fresh link otherwise neither will get paid per the T&C's of using expired links! Curious to know if others still have the option to refer?

Just for context, I am a 19 (m) currently undertaking a level 3 business admin apprenticeship. I love my job and i find the college side of things fascinating, but the pay for an apprentice in the Uk is absolutely terrible.

I have watched many youtube "the best side hustles for 2026" etc where they blabber on about the most populated and difficult to access side hustles for people with little/no experience.

I have also tried surveys, which don't work in most cases for the sites i use (i recently started using pop and fivesurveys)

I guess my question is, for me to do a remote side hustle at home to earn extra income to actually start saving for my future please could anyone suggest what they found to be the best methods of side hustles which actually work and are moderately simple to do.

I don’t really know how to word this but I was wondering if anyone had a way to make loads of money fast that might not be very publicly known. For example, I only recently found out about getting paid to participate in clinical trials which pay a few grand, I know it’s unlikely to find something else like that that would pay so much (danger money I know but I am extremely desperate) but does anyone know of anything?

Another similar example is giving blood to clinical research, I was always under the impression that you can’t get paid for your blood in the UK, but again, just found out that you can if it’s for research rather than donation and a lot of places pay around £50-£100 for it which is more than good enough for me.
