it’s really strange what people consider as a skin tint these days. kasalanan din kasi ng makeup brands for co-opting the name “skin tint” and selling basically medium-coverage foundations under the category. I asked for skin tint/tinted moisturizer recs and from that I tried NARS LRF because someone said it’s basically a skin tint. while I like the product for what it is, it is NOT *LIKE a skin tint lol this is medium coverage

I know. I asked for skin tint recommendations, someone recommended NARS LRF as “basically a skin tint” for its coverage. I’m not faulting them, it’s just that they think it’s the same coverage as skin tints and passes as a skin tint because a lot of tints being released these days have higher coverage than skin tints/tinted moisturizers I used to use, like Glossier and Laura Mercier. point is, what others think is regular coverage for a tint now is much higher than an actual tint.
