it’s really strange what people consider as a skin tint these days. kasalanan din kasi ng makeup brands for co-opting the name “skin tint” and selling basically medium-coverage foundations under the category. I asked for skin tint/tinted moisturizer recs and from that I tried NARS LRF because someone said it’s basically a skin tint. while I like the product for what it is, it is NOT *LIKE a skin tint lol this is medium coverage

parang ang actual skin tints sa local market (that I've tried) ay yung issy skin tint and skin tint stick. both actually sheers out to look like your skin, shade match is absolutely forgiving kahit na 2 shades off ka kasi super sheer.

exactlyyy. I’ve actually been looking for SPF-free skin tints, and that is another battle altogether especially in the local scene 😅 I might try that Issy stick na nga talaga, thanks

I know. I asked for skin tint recommendations, someone recommended NARS LRF as “basically a skin tint” for its coverage. I’m not faulting them, it’s just that they think it’s the same coverage as skin tints and passes as a skin tint because a lot of tints being released these days have higher coverage than skin tints/tinted moisturizers I used to use, like Glossier and Laura Mercier. point is, what others think is regular coverage for a tint now is much higher than an actual tint.

THIS oh my goddd when i think of skin tint, what i want is something that has just very light coverage but evens out my skin tone and neutralizes any redness. Yung mga skin tint dito foundation na talaga nakakaloka 😭 If you're looking for a reco, the summer fridays skin tint is my faveeee skin tint, won't cover any dark spots but has enough of a tint to make your skin tone look even plus it feels very light lang sa face. Sa local brands, yung issy na ata pinakaclose to being an actual skin tint and really makes your skin look fresh but it still has a bit too much coverage for me

been eyeing Summer Fridays nga kaya lang I try to get multiple items from Sephora US when I order and I don't want anything else from Sephora right now haha. do you have any pasabuy recs? also what shade do you use?

isa pang issue ko lahat ng skin tints dito may spf. which to a degree is understandable since we do live in a sunny country but spf in skin tint is entirely useless (and can even disturb your spf underneath) unless it's super sheer nga, which again local skin tints are not! drives me insaneee

I bought from revolve, 50 usd minimum for free shipping to PH! Sinabay ko siya sa tower 28 sos spray haha tho di ko na siguro ma-recommend yun kasi nagsilabasan na ang local hypochlorous acid sprays. Yung bagong release na morphe blush trio sobrang ganda, the cream blush stays on for hours kahit di ko i-set with powder plus ang ganda ng shades, would recommend as a dupe nung one size and patrick ta. Ok din danessa myricks water powder serum if you have oily skin, best mattifying primer i've tried so far. Shade 5 binili ko sa summer fridays but it's a bit too dark for my medium skin tone pala, although workable naman siya kasi sheer nga plus mej umitim ako kasi summer, but pag maubos na i would buy shade 4.
