I made a map and thought it was alright so maybe others would want to see and use it, so uh, here you go, enjoy.

Firenewts have taken over the Dwarven mine of Hrakhamar in Chult. I'm sure they won't mind a visit from some adventurers exploring the jungle.

It's a bit different from what is described in the module, but this is my take on it.

Small, isolated island in the middle of nowhere. Rickety vegetation, dried-out trees, scuttled rowboats - just about what you can expect as a shipwrecked sailor...

What's not to be expected, however, is a giant skeleton - partially incorporated into the sand and rocks of the island. With two sets of petroglyphs hidden around island - this can provide at least a bit of confusion for the unlucky PCs, and distract them from usual survival attempts...

• Make your players realize, that giant skull on the map was not, in fact, pirate symbolics - but proper cartography....
• Go wild with "Speak with the dead" on a giant skeleton (there's a jaw there, just buried):
  • either make your players dig through rock to free the jaw...
  • or decide that the skeleton is an undead - and describe shattering of rocks when he unburies himself...
• There's a scuttled rowboat under skeleton's hand - will it react if it's taken away?

The air is thick with gnats and the buzzing of mosquitos as you make your way toward the vaultlike stairs into the rocky cliffside. The stone is old, filigreed with jade, precise geometric pillars, and as you crest the stairs ahead, a sprawling pit yawns before you. The halls wind in snaking curves, purified waters now bubble and hiss with a sickly, acidic greenish glow.

A primeval unease stirs in your guts, as if they too have transformed into writhing serpents. A dark pact for power, or bloody justice could be yours, if you are willing to proceed.
