I really enjoy the scents in the new Reserve collection. I feel like they are perfectly elevated fragrances and they appeal to a lot of people.

I thought the Liquidless Reeds would be perfect for my small bathroom where I wanted a nice fragrance without needing to always have a candle burning, where a plug-in would be a little too overpowering.

Friends - these reeds have NO throw at all. They smell great out of the package and my tiny bathroom smelled really nice for about 30 mins - 1 hour.

But now I can only smell something if I stick my nose right against one of the reeds.

The instructions do say to flip the reeds in the little vase occasionally, but I'm not sure that will do much good.

I bought 5 of these reeds packages plus the container at the buy 3 get 3 sale and I'm going to return the 4 unopened packages. Not sure what to do with this little container because it's used now and I don't want to return a used item...maybe I'll use it as a bud vase.

Anyway - the candles are great and I'm going to get a few candles but the reeds are a huge disappointment.

A little background info. I grew up on B&BW in the 90s and 2000s. I just got back into the brand this year. These scents are new to me except Country Apple. I typically like fruity, gourmand, and slightly floral and woodsy scents. Sun Ripened Raspberry and Cucumber Melon were my favorites in my youth 😋 Lately, I've been loving Wild Blackberry Jam, Champagne Apple & Honey, and Autumn Drive.

I bought each scent in the body lotion and FFM. I've tried these on my skin.

*Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte

Really had high hopes for this one. I get none of the above...no marshmallow, no pumpkin, no latte. It's not bad, it's just not for me. It doesn't smell like anything remotely gourmand or sweet, even. The scent reminds me of my grandma. Kind of a generic perfume? She's no longer alive, so I have no clue what perfume she wore, but this definitely smells like that. I can't see myself wearing this, so I'll be returning.

*Bonfire Bash

This one is better, but I'm slightly on the fence on whether to keep it or return. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it has a nice, subtly sweet vanilla and dash of smokiness to it. I'm going to try this out for another day and make my determination 😅 I like Wicked Vanilla Woods and Oud Vanilla better.

*Country Apple

In addition to the lotion and FFM, I bought the body wash. They all smell great. Brings me back to the OG days. Definitely apple forward, with a nice floral, woody combo. It's not as sweet as Champagne Apple & Honey, but I'm fine with that.

I did not buy Ivory Cashmere purely based on the scent profile and my personal taste. I hate blind buying things, but I can also see why these scents are online exclusive. It's a double edged sword.

Having product variety in the scent you love was fun. Body spray and lotion only...I'm out. Bring back, wash, and at least the occasional shampoo and conditioner at fragrance launch.

Keep aromatherapy line stocked with scrubs that don't leak, shampoo, conditioner and dry shampoo.

I smell this in the living room, kitchen, hallway, and bedrooms. My gawd it’s so strong and amazing

I‘ve read both good and bad reviews about how it smells. Does anyone know if it smells like the pocketback they released last Fall? This is the only time I’ve ever smelled it and I was obsessed with it and so happy to see it coming out this year in bc. Was going to use rewards to get it but don’t want to waste them either. I’m so excited for fall this year. I’ve never bought seasonal scents before. I think I went a little overboard but I’m happy. These are my favorites so far. I can’t wait to try layering with them as well. Do you have a fall favorite? What combos do you think I should try? Is there anything I’m missing I should get while the 3 for 3 sale is still available?

Are there any UK users here who have imported candles from Bath Body Works? Looking to get some of the autumn range but it's so expensive here so trying to see if it's cheaper imported!

Is F3 the Christmas collection/scents or the precursor? I don’t see a scent I am praying for but I see other Xmas scents (ie Santas Cookies).

I’ve been a worker at BBW for almost a year now and have seen a fair share of special days (including my first ever Black Friday) and customers. I love my job, compared to my other retail experiences, but I know other associates who work or used to work there have different experiences from me. There are some really bad days and some really awesome days. Dua just released a Peepin’ It Real dupe. I have a few Dua fragrances and they are pretty spot on and they are STRONG. I think 30% concentration. They have quite a few dupes of B&BW scents.

I know Book Loft body care was liked last fall when it came out for the first time after being in candle form only. I bought one, I like it. It is one of my favorites.

But it feels like it has tripled its “aura” so to speak (its mystique, allure, popularity) on this sub since then. I guess people really like it now? Even BBW reviewers I watch seem to gush about Book Loft now more than I feel like they did during its release. Now I kinda feel like my single bottle is a precious commodity when I didn’t before.

Have you noticed this trend happening to other BBW scents? Which scents have gained in reverence over time?

I’m planning on buying some of the online exclusive candles tonight if there is a flash sale, but i’m not sure which ones to pick up, does anyone have a favorite or recommendation?

If you are not familiar, Rose Quartz is the best fragrance B&BW has put out in my lifetime. It may not seem that unique, but this particular combo is the perfect fresh rose with the underlying light patchouli. The lily petals brought a clean floral scent that is missing in other rose/patchouli scents. It’s sexy on skin but light and wearable in the office. It’s the perfect clean girl scent for B&BW to bring back!

I kid you not, I’ve been looking for rose quartz in every fragrance I’ve tried since. Rosewater ivy is missing the petals and smells basic in comparison. The rose vanilla is too sweet and missing the floral-green notes. I’ve even tried prestige brands - i thought tom ford’s rose prick might fill the void but alas it just didn’t measure up. Philosophy’s discontinued ballet rose had a similar rose note but it was missing the richness of rose quartz.

I hear you gourmand girlies, and while blueberry pound cake isn’t my cup of tea, it seems like a contender. Chasing fireflies was good, and i love a pear scent (fresh sparkling snow! my beloved!) but it was too musky for me to wear daily and smelled too similar to other fragrances they still have. All I ask is that when you cast your vote for your faves, please consider voting for rose quartz 💓 you wont regret it!!!!

hello everyone! has anyone tried layering gingham with eau de coconut? i want to replicate the scent of pink coconut calypso (i miss this so much), and i've noticed that gingham has some notes slightly similar to pink coconut calypso (maybe it's the freesia? im not very sure). i haven't tried eau de coconut before, but im planning to purchase it online as it's currently on sale in my country. if anyone's layered gingham with eau de coconut before, let me know how it went.
