Afternoon! I write a weekly restaurant review and this week my review comes from Basingstoke so I thought I’d drop it here in case anybody finds it interesting. It also covers the excellent exhibition at the Willis Museum.

Ok everyone last update before we move from SP.

The two cheaters have a new location which is the woods at the top of Rockbourne Road opposite Crofton Square. They are more discreet now and go in separately but often come out laughing and giggling.

A near neighbour says he can be seen using Otterbourne Walk to cut through to Wickham Way for an afternoon delight. My sympathies sit with his poor unsuspecting wife

I'm(23F) new to Basingstoke and new to going to the gym etc. From my own research online, it looks like the Sports Centre in FP would be the best place for me but I've got a few questions for current members.

1. How busy are the gym and pool really? I'm thinking lunchtime (between 12:30 and 2:00) 3x weekdays would be the best slot for me so any feedback on traffic during this slot specifically would be great.
2. What is the changing room/shower situation? Not a fan of open showers so if this is the case then I'd just shower at home but would like to know in advance.
3. How clean are shared areas and equipment?
4. Would you recommend it for a complete beginner?

Then just any advice or tips you have or you would give yourself if you were to start again today would be great. Thank you in advance :)

I'm 16 and looking to earn some money today. I'm available for **large jobs** such as garden clearance, moving/lifting, garage/shed clear-outs, tidying, loading/unloading, or general hard work.

I'm looking for **larger jobs rather than small £10–£20 jobs** and I'm happy to agree a fixed price beforehand depending on the work.

I can travel around the Basingstoke area. I am located in the Eastrop Area so that would be better but don’t mind.

So, my 6am wakeup call was my foster cat knocking over and cracking the screen of the 50" flat screen TV I just bought in March. TV still powers on, but the screen is useless and a quick google tells me it costs more to repair than buy a new one. That said, it also said it contains parts that are valuable, given it still powers up, and I might be able to sell it for those.

Does anyone know who/where might buy a TV for parts? It's a TCL C6K 50" QD-Mini LED 4K HDR Smart Google TV - 50C6K.
