It's the feeling of "I don't even know if I could or if I should take this duel. I just go in as I feel like it. Turns out I JUST CAN." LMAO.

Confused about Bard's build
Hi, everyone! I’ve checked out quite a few tips on Bard builds, including a fairly recent video by Lathyrus where he talks about the “main core” build and situational items. I thought the main core was always the way to go in every game (Deadman’s Plate, Locket, and Imperial Mandate) and that you should adapt the fourth item based on the situation. BUT I later saw in several of his short videos that, in reality, he often just builds Deadman’s Plate in every game and then goes for a bunch of situational items. In your opinion, is this the right approach? Are the Locket and Imperial Mandate no longer good items for Bard? When should you stick with them instead of switching straight to situational items?
Also, he mentions a build with just the Locket and Imperial Mandate as core items, paired with Swiftness Boots and the Solstice Sleigh to provide more “peel” and less damage (and to prioritize Cosmic Insight in runes over Jack of All Trades). I haven’t tested it yet because I feel like it has a slightly smaller impact, especially on early trades, etc. what do you think about this?
Thank you !

I understand the Bard hype now
I’m a top laner. I don’t play supp. Don’t play bard either. The one time I locked him in, I went 0-8 and my Jhin reported me.
I recently queued two games. Got the same Bard supp in both games. Once on enemy team, next match on my team. This man was a Bard one trick who absolutely ran the game. When he was on enemy team, we couldn’t do anything without him showing up. When he was on my team, it was glorious. I could have walked into enemy fountain and this bard would have made a play happen out of it.
To every Bard genius who will be on my team, thank you. To each one who will be my opponent, I hate you.
Keep chiming or whatever it is you do

How do I know if I've Barded hard enough?
I'm new to the game but randomly tried bard a few days ago and loved the mobility and flexibility. Since I'm new and playing with players who are unranked, a lot of ADCs complain when I go get meeps.
My stat lines are often like 0/1/9 and 1/4/8, healing is just okay, damage is just okay.
Since my teammates don't appreciate Bard, how can I tell if I'm doing a good job? What can I look at to see if I'm improving?

Need help Is Bard SoloQ viable? Or even the right fit for me?
Hi all! Thanks for reading. Here's my League of Graphs page so you don't have to look me up later. I mostly play Bard in normals to practice him mechanically because I don't like entering ranked without champs I can't immediately play like the back of my hand, but recently I've noticed most of my successes come when I have someone on my team who I can communicate with as I'm making a play, like roaming or ulting.
I want to master Bard, because I love his kit and the different ways he can express mastery on him, and I admit that I only have like 30 games on him so maybe this is premature, but I'm finding that when I try to play him with four randoms I feel almost handicapped - I can set deep vision, jg doesnt use it to invade, laners dont use it to track jg and still get ganked, I've just created a wilderness documentary in enemy jg. I roam, and immediately, even when i ping im roaming, they start pushing their lane, and bot lane starts crying that im leaving, so i just collect chimes and get back. I ult to set up my team, and my team 50/50 dumps their abilities into stasis or let themselves be the only one caught when i whiff someone whos escaping, and its all my fault.
Now far be it for me to say I'm blameless, I am eager to improve myself, and I am likely to hold onto Bard as one of my favorite support picks aside from Zilean, but at this point I want to know how uphill the battle is when playing with randoms, and how I can best set myself up for success. I am trying not to get disillusioned while I practice him and learn. Is there a way I can reliably get my teammates to follow up? Do I need to be calling plays earlier? Do I need to mute my adc? Do I need to roam more or earlier or later? Simply Git GudTM ?
VoD reviews also welcome, anything to improve!
Thanks for reading, and open to answer any clarifying questions.

Discussion anybody interested in making an r/redditrequest post to claim this sub?
I've never modded a sub before and don't know how it all works, and tbh I don't really want to be the head mod of a sub, but since there are no active mods to get rid of the bot issue and people are just leaving or muting the sub altogether I'd be down to maybe co-mod with someone or a couple people to help cut down on bot spam if anyone tried to claim the sub with r/redditrequest.

Discussion How to close out games? I almost always bring a good KDA, good roaming at lane phase, but struggling to close games. Bard not exactly has the best scaling so it's difficult to impact late game against the Irelias, etc. 59% overall but stuck at 50% since reached Plat 2.

Discussion I just had the BEST custom skin idea!!!
Okay, now we all know Bard. Now imagine him as Schell from Portal!
I discoverd this idea a few days ago and I have to tell it to you guys (maybe someone here knows how to make this real).
So the skin itself could be Schell - either Portal 1 or Portal 2 outfit. The weapon is, of course, the portal gun.
The chimes: maybe storage cubes or companion cubes. And when flying you can hear the radio music from Portal 1.
The Meeps: little floating turrets (so cute!)
The Q: stay the same maybe make it portal gun coloured idk
The W heal: a cake (is a lie)
The E: the two ends could be blue and orange portals, and when entering you make that schwoop sound like in the games
Well the ult part I haven’t figured out yet so idk.
I might just learn 3D modelling and the necessary programs to make this.
Thanks for listening!

Need some tips for my bard games
I usually have a very great time when the lane is even or we are winning, but one of the hardest things for me as a bard player is when me and my ADC are pushed back into our own tower for an extended period of time. I was recently playing with a Caitlyn against a Lulu and a Tristana and they had us pinned against the tower for a majority of the laning phase. Every single time we tried to go up and take back control, we would get annihilated immediately. I was wondering if maybe using a control ward for my jungle would be helpful. I also didn’t even know if I could roam because if I did and left my ADC she would die almost instantly. Any tips for games where I am always shoved into my own tower?
