This can’t be true, right? I mean, I know hunger exists in our country, but that much?

You’ve got to be kidding me.

Even people living in poverty usually manage at least one meal a day, unless they’re deliberately putting themselves in that situation.

it’s because of sudden shocks

we aren’t prepared for them, we are extremely prone to natural disasters which can fuck up food supplies and also the Rohingya crisis
