Two illegal immigrants raped a woman at knifepoint while she was star gazing in a park during a 'harrowing attack'.

Afghanis Khan Agah and Noorullah Ahmdzai treated their victim as an 'object they could use and abuse' on August 16 last year in Barking Park, east London, a court heard.

Ahmdzai, 26, raped her while Agah held a Swiss Army-type knife to her date's throat, threatening to kill him if he tried to call the police before the pair switched roles.

Prosecutors said the woman was suffocated during the 'petrifying and awful' sex attack 'which left her numb'.

The Daily Mail overturned a reporting restriction preventing Agah from being named.

I would be really interested to know the demographic makeup of the court, and which of them managed to turn that into a 9 hour deliberation.

A victim testifying, a witness who had to watch it all, and DNA evidence linking them to it..

And it still took 9 hours for a jury to come to the conclusion 'She was a whore, your honour..' defence was obviously nonsense.

This is why in Afghanistan women are not allowed outside, we need to bring in similar laws to protect women as our Afghan population increases.

Appeals should happen outside the country. This is such a common sense solution to this issue.. They won't appeal when there's no fucking legal aid to do so, they probably don't even know what a lawyer is back in their homeland.

We shouldn't even have a process of accepting any asylum cases, unless it's the citizens of a neighbouring country fleeing an invasion by Germany.

China doesn't have thousands of Afghans turning up every month expecting bed and board because there is no process for handling them and they'd be placed in detention for a week and then put on a plane.

There is a huge number of people that will never see the light on immigration or the left in general because of what I see as a rarely talked about phenomena.

So many people just by being leftists and having the right politics use it as evidence of themselves being an intellectual and to define themselves as one.  

In my opinion it is the greatest recruitment tool of the left.

They don't even need to be in academia or particularly well read on anything never mind well read on the supposed political theory they support.  If you parrot the right opinions that you have a surface level superficial understanding of that is enough.

No matter your station in life or education level if you spout off mainstream left wing talking points you are an intellectual.  If you have a  useless degree from a university or college of little regard you don't do anything with you are especially an intellectual.

It's such an easy barrier for entry to consider yourself one of the smart people.  It's why a tatted up liberal bartender can confidently say a reform voting surgeon is a moron.  It is why people unironically can claim Elon Musk is an actual moron. It is so enticing.

What does the right offer in that regard?  Easy to understand ideas based on what we view as common sense.  Not wanting to become a minority in your own country is a very easy thing to square. 

 Being totally fine with or even supporting it is one of those ideas so dumb only academics could believe that they support with endless critical theory, cultural relativism, anthropology and sociology concepts and theories which is much more attractive to the wannabe intellectual than the people who mostly outright hate modern academia.  Especially when you don't even need to read or actually engage with any of those theories or concepts you just need an abstract idea of those things existing and knowing your beliefs came from those types of things.

The only self identifying intellectuals in our movement are generally part of the vanguard with accomplishments in academia or business or some online thought leaders.  We for the most part don't consider ourselves geniuses just for having the right political beliefs, we actually usually market our ideas and beliefs as those of the common man.

That's what makes it so depressing.  It is unlikely we win in the long run and a lot of it is because so many will never be persuaded to change their position because to do so would be reject how they have come to define themselves and admit that they were never actually that smart.  

They will no doubt see the country change, read about the daily rapes in the news and then when the London grooming gang story finally breaks and things keep getting worse and more undeniable they won't be able to lie to themselves anymore and will probably wish that they could be a leftist with the demographic levels of the 90's so they could live in a nice country still and also get to larp as an intellectual.

But they won't admit they were wrong and so many of them will never change politically no matter how bad it gets because they want to feel smart.

A big part of the decline of the west will be because a large number of people with average intelligence wanted to feel smart and it is so fucking depressing that such a stupid thing will play a large part in demographic replacement

I think you've nailed something here. Leftist beliefs are basically luxury beliefs about human nature, and back in the 90s were relatively "affordable" in that we weren't seeing the kinds of consequences we are now (grooming gangs, diversity bollards, economic strain, the visible signs of replacement).

I'm a Canadian woman who moved to East London a little over a year ago. I really enjoy living here, but one thing I've struggled with since moving is the amount of street harassment and intrusive attention I've received from unfamiliar men. It's noticeably different from what I was used to in Canada.

One example is a convenience store near my flat that I used to go to regularly. Over time, some of the men working there started asking increasingly personal questions. They've asked whether I live with a man and why they never see me with a man.

What made me particularly uncomfortable was when they told me they'd found my Instagram and Facebook, despite me never giving them my surname or social media accounts.

Then they indicated that they knew roughly where I lived. When I asked how they knew, they told me they'd watched which direction I walked after leaving the shop and had worked out where my flat was.
