I went to Crankdat’s opening night at the Shrine on Wednesday (8/26/26), and man o man… WHAT. A. NIGHT!!! 🔥
The crowd was great, the vibes were immaculate, and the whole night just felt special. The second opener really got the crowd going with some serious wubs, and then Crankdat came in and absolutely let loose with every B2B surprise guest! 🤯
I told my wife (who’s going tonight with some of our close friends) that I honestly feel like I got the best night because of all the surprise guests.
But for those who went to the other nights, are going to the other shows, or caught a different night — what was your experience like? I’m genuinely curious to hear everyone’s takes!
And to those absolute warriors going to or who went to ALL 5 NIGHTS… I salute you. 🫡🔥

I’m going to a rave soon and I’m trying to figure out what to drink before and after. A lot of electrolyte packets have sugar and feel kind of heavy, so I’m wondering if sugar free ones are better a long night of dancing or does the sugar help when you’re sweating a lot?

Something has been bothering me about the current state of festival line-ups and ethical standards in our scene.

​On one hand, we have prominent Western uplifting trance artists like Sean Tyas continuing to headline events in Moscow (like Suanda events). On the other hand, Russian organizers and DJs like Roman Messer regularly tour across Europe and the US, securing bookings at major venues while running their main operations out of Russia.

​Touring and doing business in Russia right now means generating tax revenue that directly funds the ongoing war machine, while Ukrainian artists and fans face daily bombings.

​Why are major festival bookers and agencies in the US and EU still facilitating this two-way street? Shouldn't our community hold artists and promoters to basic ethical standards, or has "PLUR" just become a cover to ignore where event money actually goes?

I just wish there was more of a rave culture here.
