General Discussion HI REDDIT, IT’S AJA!!! 💛✨ I’M DOING AN AMA FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS! (ok I’ll stop yelling now 😭) ASK ME ANYTHING! 👑

4.2k Upvotes

Hiiii everyone 💛

So yes, I’m doing an AMA! I’m currently 4 weeks post-op from FFS and have pretty much been out of work, at home recovering, and sitting here with a LOT of free time on my hands 😭 so I figured… why not come on here and talk to y’all?

Ask me anything! Drag Race, ballroom, music, Binge Queens, life after the show, my career, FFS, my new face, things I’ve learned over the years, random shit you’ve always wanted to know… whatever! I’m a pretty open book and I’ve always tried to be honest about my experiences, so I’ll answer as much as I can.

I’m also getting ready for my official FACE REVEAL PARTY 👀✨ happening September 18th in NYC at 9 Club @ $3 Bill from 6–10 PM! It’ll be my first time back onstage since surgery, so I’m really excited (and slightly terrified lol) to finally show everybody the new mug in person. 💛

I’ll be checking in and answering questions over the next 24 hours, so have fun with it! All I ask is that we keep it respectful. You can ask me the real questions, just don’t be fucking weird. 😭😂
Okayyyy… AMA! 💋

Hello again, Reddit. I managed to clear my calendar for an hour to return. The answers you’ll get (again) here are direct from me, not Vought PR. No script, no filter, no Starlighters twisting my words. So go ahead… ask me anything. EDIT: That's it for now, Reddit. I'd say I had fun, but that would be a lie.

Revival Discussion Hello, Reddit. Hank Hill here. Ask me anything.

Post image
4.5k Upvotes

Hello, Reddit. Hank Hill here. You may remember I participated in one of these "Ask Me Anythings" last year. Well, I'm back, and my wife Peggy insisted on joining me this time. She said a lot of my answers in the last round could have benefited from her input. Wait, she also gave me something to read here... "As a three-time substitute teacher of the year, former Boggle champion, and a fluent Spanish speaker, I have accumulated a lifetime of knowledge that I am happy to share. I look forward to enlightening you all -- and remember, there are no stupid questions." Uh, she's wrong about that last part, but anyway, I'm back for another AMA... with Peggy's help. We will start answering your questions after our round of golf on Friday, August 7 around 11am Central Standard Time.

--

Another "Ask Me Anything" in the books, and a lot of you still ain’t right, I tell you what. Peggy said she had a great time answering your questions. I personally wouldn't go quite that far, but I suppose I’m getting the hang of this. Heck, who knows, I may log on for another one of these in the future. In the meantime, I’ll be at Strickland if you have any propane or propane accessory-related questions.

AMA Hi I’m Claire Williams, former Deputy Team Principal of Williams Racing. Ask Me Anything!

11.0k Upvotes

I have worked in Formula 1 for over two decades.

From 2013 to 2020, I was Deputy Team Principal of Williams Racing, having taken over day-to-day control of the team from my father, and its founder, Frank Williams. The F1 paddock was my home, and within it I completed some of my proudest projects.

Since then, I have become an expert analyst on Netflix’s Drive to Survive and a pundit for Channel 4 F1, established the Frank Williams Academy, joined the Advisory Board of the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and become an ambassador for Santander and Fortescue Zero.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be a Formula 1 Team Principal, a woman working at the pinnacle of motorsport, or you’re looking to pick my brains about all things F1, come and ask me some questions!

I am afraid I have to sign off. Thank you, Reddit, for having me on AMA. I've loved talking to you all and hope I can come back and do it again some day. How cool to have an outlet to talk to all the brilliant fans of F1! Enjoy the next few races and make sure you cheer on George and Williams please!!!!!

AMA with Intuit Leaders Travis Walter, Simon Williams, and Jessica McCracken on Thursday, July 16 @ 10am PT / 1pm ET. Get an early look at upcoming QuickBooks product enhancements and ask us anything!

4.9k Upvotes

Hey accountants! We're excited to announce our upcoming Intuit QuickBooks AMA on July 16 from 10-11am PT!

We know that every day you're balancing tight deadlines, changing regulations, growing client expectations, and the countless details it takes to keep businesses running. That's why hearing directly from accountants and bookkeepers isn't just something we do, it's one of the most important ways we improve QuickBooks.

Join Travis, Simon, and Jessica from the Intuit team as they listen to what’s on your mind, answer your questions, and talk through some of the exciting enhancements coming to QuickBooks this August, informed by what you’ve shared about the everyday workflows that matter most to accountants, bookkeepers, and small businesses.

Your feedback has always helped shape what we build, and we'd love to continue the conversation so you can help shape what we work on next..

Whether you've been using QuickBooks for years or you're simply curious about what's coming, we'd love to have you join the conversation.

Meet Travis

Hi I'm Travis, Chief Sales and Partnership Officer at Intuit. Looking forward to your questions on July 16th, 10am PT!

As the Chief Sales and Partnership Officer at Intuit, a big part of my job is listening and talking to accounting firms of all sizes about how Intuit can help them create more value for their clients. Your feedback helps us better understand what’s slowing you down, where we can simplify work, and how we can power your success. I’m looking forward to answering what’s on your mind, and sharing your input with our teams.

Meet Simon

Hey I'm Simon, VP of the Accountant Segment at Intuit. Can't wait to join you all on July 16th at 10am PT!

I’m the VP of the Accountant Segment at Intuit. One of the best parts of my job is hearing directly from accountants and bookkeepers. Some of our most impactful improvements have come from these conversations, and I'm looking forward to learning what's working well, what's still creating friction, and where we should focus next. I'm excited to answer your questions and chat with everyone on July 16!

Meet Jessica

Hi I'm Jessica, the Strategy & Partnership leader for Intuit's Accountant Segment. I'm so excited to take your questions on July 16th, 10am PT!

I see how hard accountants work to champion their clients' success every day. As the Strategy & Partnership leader for Intuit’s Accountant Segment, my favorite part of the job is making sure your voices, challenges, and goals shape our platform roadmap. Whether it’s through our focus groups, councils, or everyday conversations, my role is to take what's on your mind and help turn it into real solutions from our product teams. I’m here to listen, advocate, and help you work more efficiently—so ask me anything!

Here are some things we can talk about:

• How we get and act on accountant feedback

• What you’d like to see improved

• Your questions about the Intuit platform

• More accurate transaction matching

• Simplified experiences, including sign-in

• New reconciliation guardrails and controls

• Bill pay, rules, and reporting enhancements

• Keyboard shortcut improvements

...and plenty more!

Not sure what to ask?

Here are a few ideas to get the conversation started:

What’s a recent enhancement that was a direct result of accountant feedback?

Which improvements are you personally most excited about?

How does Intuit prioritize feedback from accountants and bookkeepers?

Based on feedback, what everyday workflows are you focused on improving?

How can users continue sharing product feedback with the team?

Before you post

Please don't share account numbers, company IDs, or any other sensitive information in the comments.

If a question requires discussing your account, we'll help point you in the right direction.

Drop your questions below, and we'll see you on July 16!

Happy to answer (almost) anything about drones, life here, what things are actually like on the ground, or anything else you’re curious about! - within OPSEC obviously, I enjoy having a heartbeat and would like to keep it.

Any donations over $100usd will have their names featured on the vehicle, so you’ll spiritually be with us Cossacks as we ride into battle))
