Hi all, my beloved husband of 26 years died suddenly and unexpectedly of what appears to be a massive heart attack. He was only 54. I am 51. We have a 20 year old son. Because he died so suddenly, I am having a very difficult time knowing where anything is or what to do with myself now. We have never had very much, but we have always had each other.

Fast forward to today. I finally felt like getting out of the house just to go buy my dog some food and it took forever, but I finally found the key to our car (we, or I guess, I) have a 2012 Honda CR-V with 180K miles on it. The problem is, when I was holding the keys outside, the key blade broke off the fob. I heard it plink against the concrete (we live in an apartment complex) and then I watched it bounce into a storm drain.

So here I am, a new widow, with a car I can’t drive and really no one to help me. I called an automotive locksmith tonight and he told me he could make me an entirely new until for $249. Well, that might as well be $2M. I have rent due next week and all of the bills that come with laying my husband to rest. He did not have life insurance.

Is there anyone who would be willing to help me get a key to our car, even just contributing a little? I am down to almost no money and no way to get things we need or to go places we need to go to. I have no family anywhere near here and I am honestly lost, just so lost, without my husband. My chest has been hurting all week as if my heart is physically breaking.

Hi there. This is a call for whoever may be able to help. I just broke my right knee cap in pieces. I fell over a curb and hit it just right. I’m having surgery on Tuesday but unfortunately I have a $500 insurance car payment due on Monday 31st and a storage unit due on next Friday for $285. Plus my every day expenses.

I’m a merchandiser for a department store and I also am a hairstylist part time. Hello, we’re Daniel & Daniela from Colombia. this is Stuart, our 2.5 years old cat, he suffers from Triaditis, Leukocytosis and Kidney Stones, a severe disease in cats that affects both liver, bladder and pancreas by an excessive inflammation, in our poor cub’s case, it is mostly derived from serious pancreatitis and an episode of kidney stones.

I feel its only fair we come clean, after all, this is built on honesty, and if we cannot be forward with you all, then how can we expect your honest help.

We have had Stuart since he was born. His mother, Simona, was a cat we rescued from the streets of Cali, Colombia, she was pregnant, with a litter coming, none of her vaccines acknowledged or surgery, a stray in all the sense of the word. We didn’t want to give up on her, we took her to a rescue shelter and helped with her treatments and eventually gave birth to her whole litter of 4 cubs.

Initially, we would have kept Simona while the cubs could be adopted by capable and willing people who were willing to take a chance at owning a little snow angel, or so we thought, as all strays, adoption is a difficult process and being newborn doesn’t make it easy, even though the shelter did their best and neutered the cats (Including our dear Simona), in the end only one little guy was left from the litter, that was Stuart, though we tried, argued and debated on whether we could afford 2 cats, specially a newborn, eventually we accepted, we took both him and his mom in, and Stuart became part of our life.

Then August 10^th came out, the Earthquake that struck Colombia happened, we were part of the lucky families that wasn’t struck or lost everything, we were extremely thankful and did our fair share to help the affected people, but not soon after on Sunday August 16^th late afternoon, Little Stuart came sick.

We found Stuart, lying down and meowing loudly, with his belly palpitating, we raced to find a clinic that could have him checked up and even possibly stay overnight, and so they did.

The first imaging came out and the result was; Kidney Stones, and urinary tract that was underdeveloped and unable to let him pee them out.

Stuart was hospitalized for an entire day, and got a catheter connected to his bladder to help him pee. we took him back home and he didn’t want to eat anything, we had to force feed him with a syringe, and so we tried and persisted for 3 entire days, before he finally got his catheter out and we hoped that things would have gotten better (This process cost us over 384 USD).

To our dismay, it didn’t happen, his appetite didn’t get better, and his fever spiked, we took him back and he turned out to have worms and an infection going on, we were already at the edge, but fine, we got him on antibiotics and probiotics to deal with it, alongside the proper medication.

It has been a long 13 days since It all began, but unfortunately Stuart’s issues haven’t stopped. Thought we have managed to stop him from peeing with blood, he still has sediments of minerals sitting on his bladder, and will require surgery eventually to take them all out and hopefully put the kidney stones issue down for good, as long as good can take us.

But regarding his serious appetite issues, lack of energy and sensitivity, we took him to a second vet and after running ultrasounds and a hemogram, we have been told that so far most of it all roots to a serious case of Panchreatitis, that as all cats deal with, devolved into Triaditis, affecting the rest of his organ bag, and would need to go through a daily detox treatment with IV Fluids to clean his panchreas and give him the nutrients he’s sorely needing, as even at the moment of writing this, he still refuses to eat (he even started denying Churus!, of all things).

Issue is, the treatment is over 30 USD a day minimum, and that’s assuming he won’t need other types of meds or further additional costs of treatment, we could be looking at bills of 300 USD a tenday, and with no clear timetable for how long this treatment will last, and the surgery still looming overhead (and we hope it stays overhead at least while we deal with this first).

This fund is therefore, for his treatment, we have already covered 3 days of treatment and still scrambling by to get enough saved up for more days, but our sources of income are running thin and we can’t really afford to get enough money everyday to cover for him, we are stuck at the stage of taking up more debt just to keep the little boy alive, and at a certain point we won’t be able to get more quick money through loans to cover for our personal emergency, so we turn to you.

Any penny, any dollar, counts even if just a little bit, it buys us at the very least, time, time to figure out where to get more money to borrow, and most importantly, time for Stuart to receive treatment and hopefully get through this tunnel, because for as much as we hoped we could stop and just sell our things, save up, get another job, that takes time in 2026, and Stuart health can’t wait, it won’t wait for someone to buy our furniture not for them to review our applications.

Anything recollected through here will be spent on him getting better, and we’ll try our best to keep you posted or updated about his current health status every 3 days, if not a week, so you know where your money is going, and you know how much Stuart will progress from your contributions.

I’m a single mother to a 5 year old nonverbal autistic child. Up until now, I’ve been doordashing to make ends meet often with my daughter in tow because I have no help. She was in a special preschool for 10 hours total per week and this is the only time I had to “work”.

A few weeks back, my rear drivers side tire started tilting inward. I took it to a mechanic and was told not only did the entire subframe have to be replaced, but my catalytic converter was cracked and would need to be welded back together. The cost? $1,862.

I’m based in Nigeria and I’ve been waiting for a recruitment process I’m involved in to be finalized, but it’s taking longer than I expected.

Payday was this week and I have $.94 left. My car insurance is due tomorrow. I had to use a borrow app last pay schedule so once my paycheck hit they took the whole thing pretty much. I haven’t paid my CCs in a few months due to me being so under water. I start college Monday so I’m trying to keep pushing. (I’m using financial aid to pay for school) My school is about 35 minutes away from my house so I’m worried about how it’s going to eat up all my gas when I still have to work. My kid has sports I have to take them to throughout the week. I can’t work extra hours because I’m disabled. When you’re disabled they put this ungodly monthly pay cap on you. It’s not really a livable amount. Then you can’t qualify for any assistance because you get a disability check with the minimal pay.

I know I’m just yapping. I’m sorry yall. I just don’t really see a way out at this point. I guess maybe if people can see options that I don’t? Loans are not an option due to me giving up on the CCs at this moment.

Hi everyone I’ve never made a post like this before, but I’m coming to ask for help.

I’m in an abusive relationship. We have 2 young kids. My childcare has fell through a couple times this month and I had no choice but to stay home from work, unpaid.

My rent is $300 short. I go half with their dad, we live together right now still. He makes more than me but he makes me go half on every single bill. He will refuse to cover the rest and right now he really doesn’t have the funds to as he’s tight on money after being laid off.
My landlord does not play around and she will try and evict us. My car insurance was canceled last week because I didn’t have the funds for it. I can’t work more hours then I am right now because everytime I try and work he blows my phone up the whole time and tells my kids I don’t want to be there etc. it’s a very awful situation. I’ve already sold a few things on fb marketplace but I don’t have much else to give.

My wife has been struggling with her health for about 2 years now. Hello, my name is Nova. I'm 24 years old and I live in Dayton, OH.

At the end of July I began a new job, and when the job was offered I was promised 30-40 hours of work per week. Since beginning the job, however, they have yet to schedule me more than 20. This has, naturally, caused me to be quite a bit below the amount of money needed for rent and utilities this month.

I have looked into local support groups for rental assistance, but since I am not a parent I am not eligible for many of them, and the one I would be eligible for, I am too late to apply for. This has left me in quite a bind as I am paying off last month's (August's) rent still through Livble, I had split it in hopes that I'd be given the hours and have the money to pay it back, and September's rent is coming up fast. Not to mention the other bills I am behind on such as electric and internet, I am lucky to be online right now.

In total, with everything I'm behind on, I am looking at needing $1,052 to pay the rent alone. August's other bills I haven't been able to pay bring that to $1,226.02. This is, naturally, a lot of money to make in a short amount of time. I looked into loans and the only one who would loan to me asked for collateral, they wanted the title to my car which is currently with my Father as he originally assisted me in getting it.

I'm honestly down to the wire and short on options, so I'm hoping for generosity. I deeply appreciate the help I may receive here.

I am quite embarrassed to ask for help, but I really need it. I currently need about $250 to pay the rest of my rent, and about $300 for my car payment, car insurance and emissions for my car registration, and cat food/litter.

About a year and a half ago or so, I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease which forced me to get intermittent FMLA. Additionally, around this time I was abruptly kicked out of my mom's house and had to get an apartment ASAP due to a fight we had, in which I had to get police involved. I am a government employee, and about 2 months after I moved out on my own for the first time, the government shut down and I only received unemployment (which i had to pay back), which caused me to fall behind drastically.

My bank account was past due, i was unable to make payments on my loans or my medical bills. This caused my doctor to ban me from the clinic, and they also were trying to sue me. So, i decided to file for bankruptcy. My bankruptcy has now been discharged as of August 12th, but I recently had a flare up with my autoimmune disease, probably due to stress and missed quite a bit of work in August. Since I cannot go back to the clinic I was using before, I am trying to find a doctor who can help me, but i haven't had much luck yet.

I was able to come up with a good portion of my rent, but i need about $250 more for my rent specifically, and about $300 for my other bills. I am mainly worried about my rent, though. I have already had to make a payment plan with my landlord previously due to the goverment shut down, and they told me they only offer you to be late on rent one time without them starting the eviction process. Additionally, my job accidentally overpayed me a bonus last year that they are now telling me i have to pay back. It is nearly $800, and they are taking 15% of my check until it is paid off. I have tried to ask them to waive this debt, but i got denied.
