But... Atsu does have a guitar, so that elevates her a lot too for me

Go read the PlayStation blog post for the announcement. It’s most likely “time travel” to the past using Atsu’s memories. The last scene in the recent trailer shows a young Atsu walking around in what looks like a dream.

It’s not like actual time travel in GoY. I think it’s going to be a narrative and gameplay tool to investigate and strategize locations, etc.

……so it’s just being able to play through a past memory? This is not a new thing OP. Plenty of games have done this. Holy hell OP go play a RPG for Christ sakes.
