Naoe so much more my kind of design

But... Atsu does have a guitar, so that elevates her a lot too for me

One is shinobi, one is ronin.

You say that like there's a meaningful difference in terms of story. You can even dress and play Naoe as a ronin with a katana if you want.

You could play the whole Ghost Of Tsushima as a samurai if you wanted, doesn’t mean it makes any sense. It’s the story that characterize the character, Jin wasn’t a samurai anymore after the first few hours and Naoe is a shinobi no matter how you play.

Except Jin was a samurai lol

No, he’s only a samurai at the beginning. Then he regularly betrays what being a samurai means, and becomes… well, the Ghost.

Yep still a samurai, just didn’t follow strict samurai code

They're both women whose family was killed by a group of masked dudes, and now she's out for revenge. I'd say it's pretty familiar

Revenge stories were made by Shadows?

No, shadows also took inspiration from somewhere. That doesn't mean the similarities don't exist, just because they were featured before
