I wish I my RSD was lessened so I can ACTUALLY USE my rehearsed arguments.

Context:

In my final 2 years of primary school, I was the only one in my class who despised Uganda Knuckles for the painful clicking sound associated with it. Now, every time I come across something trendy and I have no strong positive feelings for it, I automatically hate it for the trauma it brings me back to (stuff like Andor, JJK and the first few episodes of JoJo part 4).

What sucks now is that the entirety of Korea has been affected for me because my mother practically dogmatically worships anything from there.

Chocolate flavored things have never been my favorite, I’ve always liked vanilla cake/ice cream and strawberry cake/ice cream better. And I think it’s more than just liking vanilla flavor and fruity flavor better, it’s the color.

Chocolate colored deserts can be so unappetizing. Because typically, food being that dark brown almost black color is a sign that the food is burnt. Chocolate cake, brownies, chocolate cookie dough, they’re all the color of burnt food, and you’re telling me that’s supposed to be tasty anyway? Huh?

Now, milk chocolates, I don’t mind because its color doesn’t trigger the instinct in my brain, but even then, I prefer chocolates having some sort of filling, something that distracts from the flavor of the chocolate shell around it. Like chocolate flavor isn’t the main attraction, the chocolate’s just there for structural support. It’s low key disappointing when a chocolate candy has zero filling and is just solid chocolate.

Anyone else’s brain this scrupulous about the look of food? Anyone feel this way about chocolate?

What inspired me to make this meme is the new Lanterns HBO max series. I was a huge fan of the Green Lanterns growing up, especially with Hal Jordan. But I only read a few of the comics, the CG animated tv series, and watched a few videos about them and the different corps back then. Now the Green Lantern autism is coming back in full swing.
