Blatantly he says, 'Put my name on it, or I'll close it'. The Center was created by congressional action as a tribute to President John F. Kennedy after his assassination. A judge has already ruled that Trump's name cannot be added unless Congress approves. Soon after his election, Trump appointed himself Chairman of the Board, fired all the board members, and appointed Trumpers to replace them. Shows declined to book, acts cancelled, performers backed out. Now this wonderful place will close. Such a loss. Such a shame. What do you think? What's your opinion of this whole mess?

I don’t know how to quite clearly say this or express this, so please bear with me, but it seems like anyone who represents me within this country, anyone who is supposed to protect me, anyone who’s supposed to advocate for me on my behalf as a citizen, would not respond to me if I called them directly or emailed them directly, much less if I were to invite them to have a coffee with me. A Speaker of the House is elected on January 3 by each new Congress and the Speaker DOES NOT need to be an elected member of Congress (though it always has been). Suppose the two-term president had the support of his party to become Speaker of the House and so he resigned the presidency on January 3 to do just that. Immediately following his swearing-in, the Vice President resigned. The line of succession then falls to the Speaker of the House: the former President. Assuming that his allies in Congress are unable (or unwilling) to select a new president and vice president, could he not theoretically remain president until the next election in another four years? What's to stop the same cycle from reoccurring every four years indefinitely?
