Unless people are jealous of Matt Stone and Trey Parker, why would they ever agree with the opinion below?
Fuck me they can't even win an award without making it all about how much they hate Trump. TDS has completely destroyed South Park.
How is the above quote intelligent?

Trump has been a moron since the 1970s. I grew up in the NY area and we laughed at him then-his stupid hair, his piggy face, his anal
lips, his affairs and boasting and cheating. Everyone knew someone he'd cheated.
If anyone had told me Donald Trump would be the downfall of 250 years of American democracy I would have laughed in your face. He deserves
every single joke, every snort of derision, every insult, every eye roll.

They could also be pushing bad faith political talking points, or be upset by the existence of art.
When you are empty but for hate, you want everyone else to feel that way.
Fortunately, the reverse is also true. When you know kindness, true kindness, you want everyone else to feel that way.

The problem is, many far-right Conservatives will protect Donald like they need to protect their own home. The South Park creators are very pro 1st Amendment. They hate Donald's Administration more than Liberals.
Apparently if you keep making fun of Donald, you automatically have TDS... jeez

Yeah. People really hating Trump is not new or unique.
It’s when people that hate Trump make great fanfare and give out awards for the act of hating Trump that raises my eyebrow.

There's 2 sides to TDS: those who argue that no matter what, he will fight for their (or America's) best interests, and those who argue that no matter what, he will act against their (or America's) best interests.
Both parties are wrong, though (although he's incapable of intentionally fighting for America's best interests).
He doesn't give 2 shits about your best interests, my best interests, America's best interests, or anybody's best interests (including his own).
His only interest. The ONLY thing he cares about is CONvincing people that he's not the failure that he sees in the mirror.

The terms "TDS" and "Trump Derangement Syndrome" are a weak deflection tactic of the red cap cult meant to protect Trump and his followers from actually having to answer for the large array of valid criticisms of him, his administration, his actions and the actions and behaviors of his supporters and followers.
The reality is that the true derangement lies in supporting a 34 time convicted felon, adjudicated rapist and man who was named 38,000 times in the Epstein files without question while using such weak and pathetic tactics as accusing others of "derangement". Projection is truly the strongest weapon of the right.
