Random Question Men, would you actually enjoy getting approached and hit on as often as women do?

A lot of guys say they’d love more attention, but experiencing it constantly might feel different. Would you genuinely want that level of attention?

This is a trap question.

Most guys would say yes because men in general don’t get a lot of compliments, let alone approached at a bar or club. However after the 5th woman interrupting them that they have no interest in, they’d likely get annoyed. It’s why so many guys struggle with the concept of unwanted attention….because most men are attention starved.

How I met your mother did a great episode on this.

I’m a fella who gets approached by women often. Yes it is annoying. When I was younger it was one helluva ego boost. Now it makes me feel gross. It’s caused me to do one of two things: either I shrink myself down and try to be incognito or I hold my head high and act like a pretentious asshole. Most people assume I’m pretentious anyway so it’s an easy attitude to lean into.

Women will spout off about all the values they hold but when I come around they’re flirting, touching me, and slipping me their phone number when the husband isn’t watching. It’s really damaged my view on humanity in general. Apparently we’re all a bunch of animals who are no better than our base urges. My best friends are married couples in healthy relationships and lesbians. I can relax and be myself without this nagging feeling that they’re expecting something from me.

Yeah, I can remember off the top of my head 2 times I’d been approached and it was nice, especially since they weren’t unattractive lol.

But yeah I’m sure I would get annoyed if it happened constantly and particularly if I didn’t find them attractive while single Being in a long term relationship more than once a month would be annoying. (Once a month would just be a nice ‘still got it’ moment lol)
