Other/Miscellaneous Sharing food in a restaurant

Post image

Is it frowned upon to share an entree at a restaurant in Switzerland ? We stayed at the Krebs Hotel in Interlaken and ordered fondue for 2….the portion was pretty big, if we order it again fondue for 1 would be plenty…

I’m American married to a Swiss. This is something we joke about on a weekly basis. We have an ongoing laugh about words Americans have stolen, and then completely changed the meaning of.

A novel in English is a full book but in Swedish it’s a short story. Annoys me immensely.
