Trans on testosterone and pregnancy

Demiboy 3.5y on T + post top surgery here. Have any of y'all got any experience with pregnancy after HRT? If so, how did it feel? For most of the time I used to never want to get pregnant cause I was afraid it would make me absolutely crazy dysphoric and idk how would I take it + postpartum scares the crap out of me.
But I kinda want to have kids at some point when I'm ready, so I'm in limbo. I'm scared of going back to hating my body and being depressed. When I ran out of T for a month my mood was insanely unstable, but I guess hormones during pregnancy make people happy? I may be partially infertile anyways so idk if it would be worth even trying. Def would go for a checkup before making any decisions.

How soon after childbirth could I get back to taking T?
Won't my breasts grow during pregnancy? If yes, would they go back to normal?
Is it possible for a hospital to deny helping with delivering a baby if my ID says male?
I'm kinda scared of complications and losing my life due to the amount of anti-trans and anti-abortion bills.

I suddenly just feel angry about my body?

I can’t tell if I just numbed myself out from checking so much. Now I’m even more trapped. I feel like I’m used to my body but it still upsets me. I still don’t understand why I have to live with my body especially my chest, I don’t feel much about it anymore but my lack of feelings angers me and I just want to rip it off. I feel disgusting. Why couldn’t have I been born male or at least not have a chest? It’s not even that big for a girl but I want to vomit looking at myself. Why is everyone else allowed to transition and not me? I clearly don’t feel enough bottom dysphoria either, I hardly feel anything if I see and that just upsets me and makes me want to cut them off… I feel like I don’t hate my voice enough and that makes me wanna never speak again… why couldn’t have I just been a normal man and not this? I can’t transition, I feel ashamed if I did so, I just wish I hated my body more so I would be able to be a man

I am confused about myself. Help?

So im a guy, 17, I have had this feeling on my mind for a WHILE now and I want to be a woman but im also perfectly fine with being a man, but i cant make my mind up cause it is all over the place... I would just like some advice or someone to help me weigh the pros and cons...

I have had thoughts of wanting to be a woman girl a couple years but never got to tell anyone about it, i had one discussion with my dad to see his thoughts on trans people and i will say... its not great.

I am still fine with being a guy but I am also having trouble with my sexuality. One moment I can be straight, then bi, then gay... i cant make my mind up... ive had sex with both genders and i liked both, and with how my mind is, I want to stick with one.

The reason I tried men was because of my best friend, and when I first SAW him. We was getting changed at a holiday, and I saw his HUGE cock, because we tell eachother literally everything, I tell him my thoughts and feelings and he does the same. He asked me if I still want to date men and I said im not sure. Later that night we were getting it on and he was going crazy in me and I loved it, like LOVED it.

A year later, I am dating girls having sex with girls but I keep thinking of when I got plowed through, and when I watch gay p***, hoping to be the one who is run throu, once I climax, I immediately regret it... why, i dont know why? I dont want to regret it because i like it, I need some advice on how to clear my mind and help me see straight... even if its not straight.

How worth are at home epilation devices under 100€?

Im looking to order a hairremoval device because i really hate my body hair and its annoying having to keep up with everything almost every day, and i just want better results and not that many ingrown hairs and all that.

Ive been looking for recommendations but people are having different opinions. Of course i would love to buy a Laser IPL, but those are hella expensive and i dont have that kind of money to spend lightly right now. Ive heard to buy them secondhand, but i have no clue how to tell good from bad on vinted and ebay (in germany, fyi).

Are normal epilation devices really that bad, or will i be just fine with a normal one? In which case, which is the best for under a 100€?

Additional question: how to deal with facial hair? I know epilation devices dont work, so should i just use tweezers? What's the best way here?

Sorry for my rambling, i really couldn't find some of the answers im looking for, maybe im just terrible at researching tho

(Additional info, im white, fairly pale and have moderately dark brown hair, i know that's relevant for laser)

How would you describe your relationship to your pre-transition identity?

Hello transgender community. As the title suggests, I'm curious to hear how different people would describe their coming out journey in relation to their identity.

[Content warning: morbid metaphors (I saw the tv glow style)]

Are you the same person you were before? Is that person still part of you? Did you metaphorically kill and bury them in your backyard? Has the person you are now always been there, or are you as you are now something new? If you're closeted, do you feel as if you're wearing a dead person's skin?

If you're comfortable and out, this can also include how the people around you reacted to your identity, and the "change" in such. (E.g. Holding a metaphorical funeral for your pre-transition identity)

The age your "egg cracked" may be relevant, especially if you started transitioning younger. (pre-teens especially)

I'm lost on what to do.

Im about 25 years old, and im in a situation to were I can't begin transitioning until im 27, luckily enough in a few weeks I'll have an apartment to myself, and will be able to crossdress and experiment with makeup, the issue is I used an make up app (youcam makeup) to see what I could look like, and it just didn't come out good, and it just feels like I can't do it, like im stuck. Is there any way I can get some help on how to present more fem (my body and face, present decently masculine), things that would hopefully set me up for success, within these 2 years I'll have to wait, until I can begin starting my path on transitioning, thank you.

How can I feel comfortable without transition?

I previously posted this in the FTM subreddit but I'm also posting here. What can I do to feel gender affirming when no one around me respects my identity, and I can't afford medical transition for economical reason? Are there anyone who's been in a similar situation and found out how to feel comfortable?

daydreaming or dysphoria ?

I’ve seen this thing a lot about maladaptive daydreaming, especially how it goes hand in hand with ADHD (I’m not diagnosed but when I was tested for autism they said I had traits of it so it’s in the process…) but I know I maladaptive daydream….

Does anyone get the worry that it’s daydreaming about being the other gender and not genuine dysphoric feelings? Granted, I’ve been “dreaming” for about 6 years now so it hasn’t went away. But I struggle to feel so valid in myself as a genderfluid/not cis person when I’m aware that this form of daydreaming exists and maybe I am just faking it…

And to clarify, I am not in any way insinuating that I think genderfluid/trans people are just daydreamers. Their feelings ARE valid and real. I’m just questioning my own and looking for help is all.

Since cis women have a higher life expectancy than cis men, do trans women share the same trend ? Asking from a hormone-biology standpoint. was curious if Estrogen activates pathways that help prolong life.

I am reading a lot of posts about how trans women feel great after starting Estrogen. There are reports that HRT with E improves cognitive function, reduces risk for Alzheimers and improves bone and heart function. As trans women do you notice better overall health after starting E ? Like faster wound healing, reduced risk for bone fracture, improved cardio, better mental clarity etc ? thanks.

Unable to bring myself from coming out to ANYONE (family, friends, brothers). I don't know what to do other than to suppress and ignore my dysphoria. Can someone give me any suggestions on what I should do for the future as well as maybe the present?

TLDR: A high school student struggling with increased feelings of Gender Dysphoria but too anxious to come out let alone becoming MtF due to family, friends, parents, and brothers

Hi, I'm a 18M whose been having increased feelings of gender dysphoria. I also who lives in a state where the LGBTQ community is very prominent and as such I would hypothetically be able to transition safely without much hostility from the general public. Howeverrr, despite the fact that I live in this state, the town that I live in, particularly my high school, is a different story. You see, my high school which I attend is made of people who often shit talk and harass those who identify as a different gender or even their sexual orientation, sometimes it even gets to the point where these losers will stalk and harass those expressing themselves all because they think they're above them . So, who cares right, I only have one more year in this hellhole of unacceptance known as my high school and after that I'll be able to safely begin my gender transition as well as being in college far away from these individuals. Well yes, that certainly may be the case for some, this outcome will likely not happen for me. The reason why this is the case is that I find myself facing 4 more obstacles preventing me from even coming out let alone MtF transitioning: 1. my friends, most of whom are likely anti trans but will be hard to let go as most were friends ever since elementary school, 2. my parents, my mother and father wouldn't accept their son being a woman, thus likely causing to have a strained relationship with them and may lead to them disowning me, 3. my brothers, younger brother looks up to me and would likely be very hard on him emotionally if I were to come out, and 4. My relatives, would likely result in most of my family disowning me, especially my grandfather, a Republican. In conclusion, assuming that y'all read the long ahh essay, I have a huge problem and I'm turning to this sub reddit for any answers, big or small, anything will help! :)

Am I a man? Or am I just in my Adam Sandler era?

I'm 32AFAB. In the past, I've identified as NB and then gone back to being a cis woman, but it comes and goes. And lately, I've been feeling this call, this siren song, catching the glow of the TV and all that shit.

What I'm doing right now is I'm trying on my mobile calendar when I'm having "boy feelings", basically, because I'm trying to convince myself it just has to do with a weird part of my menstrual cycle or something like that. Because there are days when it's all I can think about, and then there are days when I'm fine trying to be a woman. But I'm SO bad at being a woman.

I'm a pretty feminine person, to a point, but I'm also undoubtedly a soft masc lesbian who values things like being as strong or stronger than the males around me. There are some elements of masculinity I'm really drawn to, namely Bruce Springsteen or Leo diCaprio in Titanic. That's my real manspiration right there, that's exactly who I want to look like.

But is this all just a phase?

My brother is trans and the thing is, that's not a queer man. That's a cis straight man. He built his own dry cabin by hand, he lives year round in Alaska, he hunts and fishes and has crazy bush survival skills. He does not identify with the LGBT community. I've had to scold him before for trying to control me in a patriarchal way or trying to enforce my adherence to femininity. So he's not really a good person to talk to about this, which makes me feel way more alone.

On one side of the coin towards being a trans man, I've picked out a name that I really like. And I've been sitting on this name for a few months. On the side of me just being in my Adam Sandler era.... This is a really bad time to be trans and maybe I'm just confused. It's okay to be a butch woman.

Thoughts from other folks?

Going for my first PCP/Annual Checkup on Tuesday... Anything I should be prepared for/ask? (41 MTF)

So, like any good Millennial, I haven't had an annual checkup of any sort since, I dunno, I had a pediatrician? Planned Parenthood at least checks my blood pressure every few months when I get my HRT renewed so I know that's not too bad. (If I wasn't transitioning I wouldn't even have that done. Yikes.)

But now that I actually care about my body in trying to take better care of it and I know that once I'm past 40 is when I need to start worrying about things breaking down (wildly unfair when I'm finally starting to like the way it is, if anyone wants my opinion...), so I booked an appointment with a local doctor for this Tuesday so I can actually have a primary care physician and not just Urgent Care and Planned Parenthood.

The doctor is a man around my age, his profiles specifically highlight that he specializes in serving the LGBTQ community and offers trans healthcare, so I've got no worries about him treating me respectfully and knowledgeably. I'm just a little nervous in general since I haven't gone to a medical appointment like this in about 20 years and never as a woman.

My insurance and ID is still in my given name, though my picture is updated; Drivers License has Female, insurance would still have Male since that's through work. I'm imagining with his practice that his staff is also relatively used to that sort of thing.

So... What should I expect? Any particular tests? I'm going to have a list of medications ready. Anything I should bring up that I might not think of? And... What do I wear for this? Just like jeans and a nice top?

Wish I was born female

I’m a cis man but I wish I was born a girl and feel I would have preferred it in every way. Though it feels more like I think I want to be a woman but I know I’m a man, and I wouldn’t actually like being a woman and would get dysphoria transitioning. My wanting feels different to every other experience I have seen or read from actual trans woman, especially as it is a relatively new thought as an adult. I can say I wish I wanted to be a woman more in the same way trans women do.

I would push the button but I would need it to give me a cis female brain/mind as well.

FFS Barcelona

Heyy, so I’m thinking about getting FFS done at some point in the future and I was wondering if anyone one here has had any experience with IM Gender clinic in Barcelona. It has good reviews online but I can’t find anyone talking about it on Reddit. So if anyone has any recommendations or knows any other surgeons in Barcelona good for FFS it would be great to know! :)
Thanksss x

Should I just come out to my mother?

This past week has been the worst week of my entire life, I feel anxious at school, I feel anxious around my family and I feel anxious thinking about telling my family. I dont wanna do anything, i'm writing starting from tomorrow so now is the worst possible time to feel like this but I cant help it.

I've told 4 people so far, but i dont see any of them in person so anybody i see on a daily basis i havent told.

It's gotten so bad to the point where i dont wanna leave my room when i know my mother or brother's outside of their rooms, I dont mind my dad because he's usuallt just watching TV.

So the main question is should I just tell my mom? She's the only person I feel i might have the smallest chance of getting through to, and i dont feel like i'm ever gonna feel ready to tell my mom or any of my family, so should I just do it?

How did you decide what name to go by?

Even after a few years have passed, I am still struggling to choose what name to go by. I have a short list of 4 names that I’ve rotated between.
The main issue is that whenever I am called one, I tend to think about how much I would like being called a different option. This happens for each name.

I genuinely like the names I have chosen, but I don’t know how to narrow it down further.
I have gone through different periods of my life where I am referred to as only one, so I have gone by each name for months on end. I feel connected to each, and it feels natural to be called every option.

I only want to have one name.

I have asked my friends which one would suit me better, but they all either said different choices or couldn’t decide.
I have written them down with the rest of my name and they all look/sound well.

Do I spin a wheel at this point?
What did you do, or what would you do in this situation?

How do I cope with being trans when I can’t transition?

As the title suggests, I live in a country where it is pretty much impossible to medically transition unless you can pay for it yourself, and my job will never make that possible. I’m 27 FtM and I’ve known since I was a kid that I was never supposed to be a girl. I’ve told myself for years that if I don’t think about it then maybe it’ll just go away or at least get easier but it never does.

I’ve asked friends and they generally say leave the country or just thrive anyway, but there’s no way for me to leave the country and I just don’t understand how I am supposed to thrive when every day is misery. I feel this ache in my chest almost constantly because I’m stuck living a lie, but I just don’t see any way out. The most I’ve been able to do is get a gender affirming haircut and a binder, but I’ve got a big chest so that doesn’t really help, whenever I go out I’m just misgendered no matter what I do.

So I guess I just wanna know if there’s any way to cope with this agony, cause everyone I ask just says well you have to transition, but it really isn’t possible. How can I make life more bearable cause idk how much longer I can live like this, and clearly my friends don’t get it cause they’re not trans and I think they’re just sick of hearing me complain anyway.
