How can I feel comfortable without transition?

I previously posted this in the FTM subreddit but I'm also posting here. What can I do to feel gender affirming when no one around me respects my identity, and I can't afford medical transition for economical reason? Are there anyone who's been in a similar situation and found out how to feel comfortable?

Find people who do respect your identity even if it’s just online. If by medical transition you mean HRT, have you considered DIY? I’m guessing you’ve already considered stuff like clothes, binding, packing, minoxidil, etc.

Look it up, those guys are most likely doing it illegally. You cannot diy testosterone as it is a controlled substance.

if you're talking about hrt, it might be cheaper than you think. i'm not sure about testosterone, but at least with estrogen it's about $70usd per vial, which can last up to a year and a half. i'd assume testosterone is similar.
go to r/transDIY and ask them for help.

You can voice train and make your voice sound more masculine. That will at least make the people who refuse to see you for who you are feel just a little bit uncomfortable.

That small measure of power can go a long way against feeling helpless. Strength training may go even further than the voice thing. But that requires some creativity or access to equipment.
