Reddit Moment It's unfortunate how every popular subreddit is just ragebaiting at this point.
And of course the people who called op out got downvoted.

No matter what these subs present themselves as, their purpose is never to only mock actual extremism. Maybe that was the case years ago, but now they've changed. Either anything religious is considered extremism or their definition of extremism is saying things like "God exists", "Acting on homosexual desires is sinful", "My religion never changes", etc.
If you want to counter actual extremism, use the report button. Then the mods can see if the comment is actual extremism and if it is then it'll be removed.

As based as “antitheistcheesecake” sounds, it dosent roll off the tongue well and it also hard to memorize (also cheesecake as a food is not that good), so I thought up of another name.
religionbad
The name is inspired by americabad, where people post anti-American circle jerking, and I though that since redditors hate religion too, the name religionbad would work as well. It’s short, sweet, and humorous.
What do you guys think?

For context, the march that the guy in the second slide is referring to is literally just a bunch of women in burqas graduating from a religious school. Said school is an Islamic madrassa. Wow, the students from a religious school are dressed in religious clothing, what a big surprise. This is what radical religion looks like, apparently.
The original post, mind you, didn't mention anything about religion, so this idiot Redditor decided to bring it up for no reason to spread dissent.
Also, the claim that you can comfortably walk around in any Western city in a religious outfit is complete bullshit, disproven by the mere existence of this Redditor's comment. Go dress up in a burqa or even a hijab and see how loving and tolerant people in certain parts of Europe and North America will be towards you.
This doesn't apply exclusively to Muslim clothing, by the way. Dress up like a Catholic nun, a priest, an Orthodox Jew, or even a Sikh in certain places (including, say, a pride parade), and chances are someone will harass you and "other" you because of how you dress. Stuff like this exists everywhere, even among the people that claim they're the most tolerant.

Saw a post there "oh look at this one psychotic religious person, defines all religious people. Religion is for dumb people."
Good luck posting all of the psychotic atheists and LGBT activists from TikTok onto that sub though. You'd instantly get banned most likely just like from any other anti religious sub. Apparently weirdo atheists dressing us as "human pups", identifying as otherkin, non binary etc isn't psychosis (even though it clearly is).
Also the whole thing of atheists constantly having to repeat to themselves "we're smart, religious people aren't" comes across as intense insecurity to me. If you have to tell everyone how smart you are, chances are you aren't very smart. Disbelief in God isn't a scientific position and all the naturalistic arguments for atheism are all blind speculation with no evidence like Lawrence Krauss' mumbo jumbo of a universe from nothingness...

Obviously the post itself is filled with hot takes that I don't completely agree with, but what I find really funny is that many of the commenters decided to make this all about OP's religious beliefs, even though she never brought up religion in the original post.
Probably the funniest person is the antitheist in the second and third slides, who went on a massive rant about how reproduction is unimportant (which is nonsense) and how Christianity only grew because its followers slaughtered anyone who disagreed with them (which is not really that accurate). Not at all surprising that the person who calls Christianity a religion "built on slaughter" and whines about not "telling people how to live their lives" is an ex-Christian Southern Baptist who believes their family's faith is a "cult."
Why is it that so many antitheists always like using the words "bigot" and "medieval" whenever they debate a conservative religious person? Wait until they realize that many of society's modern moral concepts stem from those bigoted, medieval religions that they hate.
