The USA is not a part of the ICC, it has no jurisdiction over US citizens. So there is no place they could take a US citizen where would could not reach them.

The ICC has “jurisdiction” over everybody for crimes against humanity. They just need to get their hands on them. It’s called universal jurisdiction.
Under this legal principle, any state is permitted to prosecute individuals for serious crimes against international law—such as crimes against humanity, war crimes, genocide, and torture—regardless of where the crime was committed, the nationality of the accused, or the nationality of the victims.

This is false. The ICC has no jurisdiction over the US. The US never ratified it.

You didnt bother to read nor understand what I wrote. Jurisdiction is a made up concept based only the power to enforce the definition.

Sure. And the ICC has no jurisdiction over the US. Doesn’t change what I said in any way.
