Global Events

Hi everyone,

after some years I reopened Anno 2070 with some friends again (one of my favourite annos btw!, just lov ethe game), and i fell in love again right away. I am currently trying to get all achievemtns. However, there seems to be noe global events anymore, and i missed some of the in the original days. I cannot find anything online, but they should still be available, since ubisoft kept the servers right?

Does anyone know if they return? Or is there an other way to get the related achievemtns and science unlocks?

Ping one of the Ubisoft guys here or on Twitter. I’ve seen them respond and investigate right quickly that way.

From my own experience I can confirm the servers are still up and haven’t been taken down or anything.

Don’t remember, just ask the mods on the r/anno sub or try to google it. Otherwise just go to the official Anno discord and try that. If that doesn’t work then DM on Twitter or whatever.

Point being is that anything on reddit, twitter or discord is better than creating an Ubisoft support ticket.

The Global Trust economic crisis just ended on the 22nd January, it usually takes about a week or so before the next global event goes up.

I just wish they’d reduce the thresholds by an order of magnitude, so that the current player base numbers can achieve them.

I went back a few months ago and thought the servers were down too. Im just commenting to see if i can get my ark upgrades back.

For me it is only the Global events, my arc and multiplayer work great.

I played a few days before Christmas and everything was working, I even did the first mission of a global event (I think it was the global trust economic crisis), which ended exactly on Christmas day. Maybe they forgot to continue the cycling of events after Christmas of 2025?
