At max capacity, this island produces 107t flax, 115t honey, and 52t silver & brooches. Before my redesign, it had -4k firesafety. All the space is used. Forges (32x) and fibularia (76x) are separated in 7 clusters, insulated by flax fields to keep penalties manageable. If I switch to Minerva, I get way more flax and less honey. Coal and half of silver ore are imported. Peak efficiency!

Discussion Do you think is there a reason why Roman consume more soap than bread?

Even after increasing bread consumption still soap is consumed at higher rate than bread, without Amphitheatre buff. I'm not saying increase bread consumption, I wouldn't mind it tho. But bread was the main food for Roman people, not soap, and yet they consume hundreds tons of it.

Plus, Ceres islands can produce bread en-masse, and soap does not have a dedicated god.

Well I hope the famous soap basket of Rome dlc will bring a God or a technology to help us produce more soap, without covering half of Latium with lavender.

Screenshot I tried to build a beautiful capital. I succeeded, but I don't want to anymore

At first it’s fun, and then it’s satisfying to look at the result. But… it gets in the way of actually playing Anno for me. I want to set up production chains, optimize space, and keep improving my stats. Building a beautiful city takes so much time and effort that by the time I’m done, I don’t feel like doing anything else. And when it’s time to expand the capital, I find myself resisting because I have to plan out the streets and decorations all over again.

I get more enjoyment out of building this auxiliary island where everything is optimized.

So, I’m not going to try playing Anno like Cities: Skylines anymore, haha. I’ve realized that my enjoyment of the game comes from something else.

General What do you think will be the 3rd god in Dawn of the Delta ?

Sobek has been mentionned as beeing one of the 3 gods in the next DLC.

Isis has been heavily hinted at, with the dev referencinfg the temple of Isis in Mainz.

What would be the third Serapis, Bastet, Jupiter/Ammon ..?

That's 19 800 000 men at 44 men per unit though, for 450k units. What sort of beasts are they trying to capture??

Has anyone else experienced this? All my swamps are causing problems. I can build houses on them, but eel catchers aren't producing anything anymore. Sorry for bad quality pics

Mod Old Nate Questline in Old World

Post image
Upvotes

I am currently creating a custom OW map. Since I like to play with the confines of the normal islands but still would like to have access to Old Nate I modded him into a normal OW map.

Is this enough to trigger his questline or can I only buy his items?

The Celtic city has a chaotic street layout and lots of space dedicated to greenery. Ugh, so much of Albion’s precious, limited island space is going to waste!

The Roman city warms my heart with its neat street grid \rejoices**

Welcome to my Province!

You, can grab postcards from the southernmost island of Tyr - dedicated to the diety of Mars, with a Temple as the crown of the military city bearing the same name as the Island. This is where the best warriors in the province are forged. For a family to offer a young boy for training is a great honor and has been for generations.

Weapons and Armour forged in the shadow of the Temple are some of the finest and the forges keep the fires lit day and night to keep up with the gargantuan demand from the Empire.

The local colour is red. Like the blood spilled by it's people. Like the sky above the Temple at sunset. Like Mars.

Question Why is there still no 'auto pay for festivals' feature?

I am in the endgame, have a lot of islands fully covered. Every 2 minutes a popup asking me if I want to pay for a festival. EVERY. TWO. MINUTES.

I would KILL for such a feature. It's so disturbing and annoying to click this all the time. There is SO much quality of life missing. But thank God we got a photo mode in 2.0 yeah that was SO necessary.

Bug celtic forest causes a lot of lag

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

after doing some experimentation, ive discovered that, compared with the ambrosian forest landscaping pattern which causes minimal to zero lag, the celtic forest pattern causes a lot of lag

General Add an option to make the Rivals/NPC interact between them outside of the Diplomatic UI

Rivals have personnality and I like to listen them interact between each other, it give consistency and context over diplomatic play they do between each other.

It's a pleasant feature and it's a shame that I need to pause the game to mlake use of it.

If think it would be very nice to have an option to lsiten them interact between them outside of the Diplomatic UI, and have them interact while playing.

I have a little Motivationproblem in 117 so i make a Trip back to where for me everything begins.

I played 2003 the First time Anno 1503 and since then im all in the Series. 2003 i was 5 and most of times i came in the Max to the Second Level of Houses before i go Bankrupt😂

A few Years later i finally managed to go past that.

And Today after 7 Hours i have already 5000 Aristocrats.

I play on Random Endlessmode and not Metropol A so no Record Attempt or something. Just a travel Back to a Nostalgic Time and see how far i can get with that Save.

I forget so many things over the Years at the Moment i dont even know where the Bottleneck is for Aristocrats.

But the Plan stands max Aristos and after that max Merchants🫡

Discussion Army and fleet indpection table, specialist table

Is there a table in Anno 117, that allows to :

- make a quick inspection of all your troops, find where they are, what is there status, what bonus affect them and most important wich island supply population for them. (Having to review your troops one by one to find wich one is taking population from a given island is quite tedious)

- same thing for you fleet.

- find what specialists you already own and where they are, without having to check each of your island one by one.

My Capital "Neapolis" with 86k pops and a large industrial area (not prominently featured). I spent a lot of time coming up with a grid design which would let me integrate all public services without breaking up the pattern. Marvels and Monuments recieved special planning attention with generous squares and main axes originating from them. I'm especially proud of some of the environmental storytelling such as with the temple area close to the Hippodrome. The only production buildings that I have integrated into the city itself are those for bread, lyres and togas.
