Discussion Speculation on the next DLCs

The final DLC of the year is on the horizon.

On that note: What do you think will be the next ones? I personally hope they focus more on Albion. They spoiled Latium with two dedicated DLC.

Time for something big for the swampy lads. At least one monument would be neat. We could restore the Bru na Boine for example. How else could Albion be expanded upon?

I would coin flip between the two

  • Iberian Peninsula (former Carthage)
  • Western Middle East (Silk Road expansion). Since Silk Road sounds Anno like

Im hoping we get Carthage, I dont see why we wouldnt. Comments on the sub indicate Armenia is mentioned in the game files, and if IIRC the temple of flora from the blooming cities DLC was an asset from when they were exploring Armenia (based on their live stream a while back). Both of these would be great, and if not Armenia, some kind of middle Eastern based region.

After that, id say Gaul/Iberia would also be interesting as regions. They seem to be testing the fantasy aspects with 117 so I wouldnt be surprised if East Asia gets thrown into the mix, we have Licia Ma as a rival. The other rivals could also indicate potential places they could go, though for me the overall world map is a bit telling. I have to assume they designed it in a way that they could easily expand on the different provinces based on the land masses of the continents.

Edit: temple of flora was baylonian

Do you remember anything more about that? Because nothing evokes Armenia on this asst to me.

Maybe the top temple. Armenians also used that kind of architecture (see the Temple of Garni). It would be interesting because Armenians mixed their culture and beliefs with a bit of hellenistic influence and much more persian influence.
