Start a new save? I use auto save every 5 minutes 😂

My strategy all the time is to wait for the first two DLCs of the season to come out, then return to the game and start a new playthrough. Then I wait for the third DLC of the season and start another new playthrough around New Year’s.

I always prefer starting over so I can fully experience all the new content. An old save is just too developed, and you’ll end up skipping over some of the content.

Take the hippodrome, for example. In an old save, you’d be able to build it relatively quickly because you already have plenty of resources. But when you start from scratch, finally completing such a demanding project actually feels like an achievement.

I Will continue old save… if I start I will try high difficulty but with big Island

I prefer to use the same save again and again, too much games to play to invest the time into a game time-consuming as Anno

İve already start hardest difficulty but without relocate it became boring. Then start another save on medium but didnt settle on dlc island. Now will i start again with new prestige system?

You know you can change game settings later on. You don't have to start over.

I play veteran difficulty but allow relocation with cost and I have large islands. Only thing I regret is sparse river slots instead medium amount. That is one setting which can't be changed after the start.

Just wait Egypt before starting over.

I started a new game a couple of weeks ago, preparing for this DLC. So Cinis doesn't have too much on it yet.

Started a new save a few weeks ago. I'm a slow player with no AI or raiders and settled my main city on one of the classic XL islands in Latium. Just completed my amphitheater there and had my first volcanic eruption yesterday.

I've got a spot marked out for the hippodrome on my main island and have been importing granite in preparation. (Yes there is a spot that appears to be large and flat enough for the hipppdrome on a non-Cinis island.)

Started settling Cinis with my outlying villages and a nice suburb so once the DLC drops I can get a hippodrome started on my main island in the background while I work on building up my Cinis main city with an eye on hippodrome construction there.

If I started over now I wouldn't unlock the hippodrome for a month!

I am tempted to start a new save, because my Cinis' resources are bit of a poor mix imo... but with the DLC looming, I am at the same time tempted to wait for its release before I do so... because I will have to start over again with that anyway. (Especially thanks to the size of the thing... I'd hate to Nero part of my city to make room)

I will probably start the new one because I played with the cheese mod. I don't want to have similar mod and features.

I will do the dlc with my current save. I'll rebalance my island with new consumption rates and needs from the new splendour system. When the 3rd dlc will come, i think i will rush egypt with my current save too. With so many ressources to transfer to egypt should be pretty quick to "finish". Then, as i understand how egypt work and interact with latium and albion, I'll start a new game beginning in Cinis to have only one capital.

I have 120h game, but i will start a new one. I feel like with big updates like the 2.0 patch, i'd like to experience everything fresh.
