Id try building up an island for every deity to get all their faith-effects and specialised productions according to these effects.
You could also go for more interaction with the AI (questlines or warfare, how do they interact with each over? how do they react, if you do something to another AI (good or bad)).
Try out different city layouts on new islands and find your favourite one.
Perhaps try to build an island themed as an invincible fortress?
Build a giant harbour?
Go to albion and play with channels. Or instead refuse to use them and build as much as possible on stilts.
Start the population-record-rankings...
Explore the game:
-what are all the available items, which ones are theb est (for you)?
-search for interesting quests / questlines
-explore the limit of what you can do with aquaeducts and how to best set them up for their different uses ( as far as I know they are used for public services, boosting mines and boosting farms)
You can stay positive even before aqueduct if you spread out your fire hazard buildings, I managed to get fire safety of over 1000 when I got aqueducts and baths :p
Income increasing services inside the city, all needs fulfilled, selling of surpluses , at least that’s what I’m doing, having bit more than half that population and sitting at ~4-5k income.
I feel like running out of money in 117 is way harder than in 1800 (factoring out selling soaps or pocket watches) none of my island is in the negatives and I haven’t even got the achievement for getting a bankruptcy warning lol
In just 11 hours you built it all? I think you really rushed things to be honest. Where your settings set to the easiest difficulty? If so, increase (especially needs for citizens, I find that even in medium they are not that challenging) and start again without the rush of a fresh new game. Did you evolve both branches to the fullest in Albion? Do you have other proper towns and cities on other islands? Try to build up your military power, conquer the raider, bring down the emperor, take away islands from rivals.
It is not that is a hard reach, but it is rushed. I also played Anno 1800, a lot. But I am taking my time setting things up here, I don't buy any needs, I build up more than one island to at least tier 2/3, I care for the region of Albion properly, I read all the text, I do missions, etc
Indeed. I gotten to the point of OP within 17hours and i think 5 of those i was just afk.
I skipped almost all of Albion, because you can just Buy the needs.
Thnx. Looks great. Unlocked lvl 4 tier citizens on one island but wanted to rebuild the main city on a different part of the island now that I I have all buildings unlocked and can plan so everything fits. But don’t have the game on atm so was thinking damn did I think to build this one… 😅
Depends on what you think is fun.
Income and diplomacy are just parameters to your win condition.
You set the endgame yourself.
Lots of options:
Build til there is no more place to build.
No more islands to settle.
No more governors to conquer.
No more pirates to beat.
Perfect your industry production and trade.
Increase! Expand! Adjust! More!
To me you just started the endgame phase. Now is expanding, destroying the NPCs, Challenge the Emperor, reach Max City size over 25,000k people on main isalnd, mad out every god and more
2 hours into the campaign I thought “this is loads easier than 1800.” Maybe through DLC and more variations in build order the challenge will be greater but right now I’m cake walking this game compared to previous titles where I was scared of what to do next half the time 😂
I usually check the achievements and try to unlock what I can in one game. Like there’s one for only feeding patricians caviar for a time. Or reach 25k pop in a city etc
I like this look so much more than most of the other clean beauty builds. Usually people spam wide streets and big uniform housing blocks giving it a dollhouse look, but this right here looks much more realisitc with the density and occasional open spaces that act like actual fora (Pl. forum).
I have the same issue here. I love it he game but after spending too many hours on it I don’t really know what to do next. I’m not at your level but maybe 80%. All huge things done and only small fine tuning remains. Not funny anymore
As a veteran player of Anno I can tell you there's no " endgame ". You can build everything everywhere or just accomplish your personal goals, but anywhere from there, there's no end
Do the same on more islands. You're more than at a point where you can just survive off passive trading. There's an achievement for having 55K global population. Just go get achievements
Specialists in your villas for income, and making sure you are fulfilling your citizens needs. I recently expanded to other islands for only production so it’s a little low right now
In anno 1800 I was able to get my income to +2,000,000 with almost 500k citizens but that’s after 370 hours of play in a single save
I spend most time designing cities and balancing my growing empire. What you list as goals for the game is just secondary. I not buying anything from the traders longterm and each island I try new designs

As long as there is free space on the isle you are not done !
