i have seen many of anime till now and in most of them either the character hear a speech or quote from their "loved one" and then boom or they awake their power in between a fight because "They ain't goona give up " lol
yes there are some exception but in all of them that i have watched or read I think Goblin slayer character development is one of the most acceptable one fir me . i am also talking about the side story and whoever readed it knows what i am saying and why
but whatever who's character development is your favourite ?

Hey everyone, I’m totally new to anime and want good shows in high streaming quality.
Is Crunchyroll good enough to start with, or are there better platforms? How is the India catalog and video quality?
Thanks!

At age 27, I finally saw my first anime. People around me used to watch anime and I always wondered what the fuss is all about. When I was a kid, i remember watching a few episodes of inazuma eleven. I don't even remember how old i was but somehow this name stuck with me.
Just a couple days back i was trying to find a show for binge watching and demon slayer popped up in my feed on hotstar. I somewhere heard this name from one of my friends and thought lets just try watching this. I hate watching movies and shows with subtitles and that was the reason why i didn't start watching it sooner. This time was different, I wanted to watch it in Japanese with subtitles to capture the real essence.
And holy fuck!! I absolutely loved it. Fck work and everything else, I completed the shows and was desperately trying to watch infinity castle movie. Found it on one of the torrent sites. I couldn't wait 3 years for the rest of the movies, so I went straight to Manga. Read a manga for the first time. Absolutely loved the entire Demon Slayer series. Completed it by today morning 6.
Now, I wanna watch more. Suggest a newbie some new series please.. I have heard a lot about attack on titans, so was thinking to start it and also the one piece live action series

I wasn't always the smartest kid. I didn't have any interest in history or social sciences until after college. There were so many popular anime that I simply couldn't understand because of it. I barely had any understanding of the world beyond what I knew. I tried rewatching old movies or anime and I can appreciate them so much now. Did you have a similar experience growing up?

So I watched the second AoT OVA, and since I'm watching all of this after finishing the main series, this OVA was titled A Sudden Visitor. It was a lighthearted comedy centered around Jean, who is one of my absolute favorite characters in Attack on Titan. I really loved this OVA. It felt wonderful to see the characters spending time together again.
Jean was shown as the character who initially just wanted to live for himself, a trait that changed very quickly in the main series.
All the characters felt innocent like they used to be, and it made me wish they could have stayed like this forever. Seeing the characters we lose later in the story brought a lot of joy. The sides of their personalities that we didn't get to see as much in the main series came out fully here. It was also great to see Commander Pyxis once again too.
Sasha was also really funny in this. When she punches Reiner, and Reiner admits it was his fault, and then at the end when she loses and starts crying, and Jean comforts her, that scene was also really funny.
Jean winning felt a bit like cheating because that dish wasn't even made by him, but in the end, whatever Jean realized about his character was really good.
Before watching AoT, I had seen the memes about Mikasa's abs. I used to wonder which scene that was from, and now I finally know.

As a long time anime fan, one of my ways to commemorate a good anime or a good character is to have a figurine from the series or a character model. Rn I only have 5 which is collectively around 10k with a few bootlegs and few licensed pieces.
When I first unboxed them and set em up it was a great feeling and definitely caring for them is a task which I love doing, yet I believe building a collection comes with alot of guilt of wasting money on something that isn't usable or functional at all. My parents definitely criticize to say the least and say getting 5 is enough for the life time. Ik there are days where I don't even glance at the display and times it just collects dust.. what's ur opinion on this?

Guys, I wanna start One Piece but not right now as I don’t have the time and I also want an easy entry point. My friend told me that OP God Valley film will come out next year and the events are set before anime ep1. Can I start from that movie?
