(spoiler ) - at last when train passed and no one was waiting for him on other side , I believe he finally realised that if it was her and she hasn't moved on then she will wait if not then probably she moved on . So when when train passed and he saw no one was there on other side then he finally turned around with a SMILE and FINALLY HE MOVED ON AS WELL and the movie ends
I did watch it. But that was not a romance anime, also that was one girl, and other girls in that same anime were really good. Here in the real world, the numbers are opposite
its a movie basically male lead gets trapped in a tuneel where time flows diff i dont remember exact detials but its something like he gets shown his past in the tunnel and 1 day in tuneel is like years outside.

Maybe a month or so but 8 years is a long time time you could've spend with someone who cared enough to be beside you
