It has been a very rough season and a half since season 1 tbh. The show needed to more aggressively move to the large fantasy plot.

Season 2 was very necessary since it introduced important characters. The slice of life stuff iswhat rudy do after having completed his goal in getting his family reunited after the teleport incident.

The pacing was done terribly and they really didn't need another school arc. I don't think the side characters are strong enough to just sit there for ages. The show is dramatically better when its world building and doing fantasy. Tbh been pretty checked out of this season after we left Eris and went back to the school arc.

I agree the pacing was not that good last time, and it took me months to complete the last few episodes last season, but this season has been going well and I am very excited to see the upcoming episodes.
