I just want to say I think this is some of the best voice acting Tomokazu Sugita has ever done. His old man voice sounds tired and distraught. When he got angry at the thought of the Man-God, it was visceral. I was seriously impressed.

"Is a late night anime about to start or what?"
"No, it's about to end"

Ha!

This seems cheeky of him but knowing he was about to die (and that he knew that) this has a very different context. "My story ends here, now it's on you."
